Sweetest thing I've heard.

When coaching, we get a lot of people who come through the program for various reasons: most want to get legal, others want to ride with partners, and an increasing number are checking things off their bucket list.

When I asked one of the girls on my range why she wanted to ride, it was because another student made her. The guy supplied the explanation: he asked her out on a date and, instead of the normal dating thing, he thought it would be cool if the two of them could learn to ride together.

Now, if that's not a way to discover if two people are good for one another, I don't know what is. They're not on the same range as one another, but the shared experience was bringing them much closer together, if body language is something to judge by.

I thought it was pretty sweet. Kudos to you, dude who used the BRC for a date.

My first day coaching on the Range, ever.

I had one accident. The student had the handlebars turned too far with a hand full of throttle and she popped the clutch. She went down, the bike went down and I had to do some emergency management. It was fucking crazy.

I also staged the riders at the wrong start cones.

Other than that, it went extraordinarily well.

I'm going to get a beer.
