I survived Mt. Batulao! Can't even imagine how I managed to go up on its peak and go back to its feet. It may look simple but don't be fooled! I just wasn't able to take pictures of mine during the assualt but that was breathtaking. Aside from the wonderful views of different mountain formations, Mt. Talamitam in the other side, the green fields of Nasugbu and some sightings of other Batangas' provinces, the climb really took my breath away. That was truly an amazing experience, just one wrong move you'll be leaving earth soon hehehe 🤣. I don't know if this is really for beginners, I meant the rocky ascend to the peak is truly an adrenaline rush moments added the scorching hot weather during our climb. We decided to take old trail first then the new trail on our descend as I researched that it is shorter and at the same time, easier path but I don't think it is. There are very steep descend paths that you really need to cautious about as you are still walking on the edge of the mountain. It was hot and humid Sunday, for those who would like to experience it also try to wear hiker shoes as possible. The trail is slippery due to sands and stones since it is summer season. Have to make sure you are fit enough as there will be alot of balancing, focusing and almost rock climbing to be done. But the peak is worth the climb, you will almost see the whole of Batangas. It is such a wonderful place to see other mountains, fields and other places in Batangas such as their industrial sites. You can also see part of Taal Lake and Mt. Maculot. Worth my sunburn! Hehehehe 🤣 I'm lucky enough to be able to experience this, it is somehow a breath of fresh air to be with nature. Just exploring and enjoying the wonders of God. My 3rd mountain hiked and hopefully not the last.
