have been playing a lot of rdr2 lately and am obsessed with its gorgeous soundtrack (among many other things)

wanted to learn one of my favorite tracks, Mountain Banjo, but was too lazy to change my open G tuning so I made a very simple “cover” in Em instead lmao

So, unlike other people using this time to better themselves and learn important new life skills... I built a banjo out of a discarded pallet. 

Over the lockdown I did some research into he real routes of the Banjo and its music, pre American Civil War. Obviously it interested me enough for me to try and make a kind of mountain/minstrel banjo hybrid.
