Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering & Hiking Club on 29 July 2018 as part of its Sunday treks organised a trek to Twin lakes of Yemsar Khemsar. A total number of 62 participants hit the trail along with a girl participant. Kudos to all the participants who competed the trek especially to Mohammad Manaan a class 8th student of Bilaliya School who completed the trek defying all odds. Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering and Hiking Club on Sunday, 22 2018 organised a one day trek as a part of its Sunday Treks to Hokhsar Daksum Anantnag through Razparyan wildlife sanctuary. The trail leadng to Hokhsar through the sanctuary as promised was truly a blessing with soul refreshing aroma, singing birds, lush green forests and a gushing stream alongside the trail added to the beauty of it. The trek witnessed an active participation of 58 along with two female participants. The trek was lead by the senior members of club Mr Sunny Sajad Hyder, Tufail Qureshi alongwith Shafqat Mountaineer , Tufail Shah and Sayyed Tahir. To mention here the it was seen that more then 60% of participants were freshers who for the first time had been part of any trekking programme and were highly thankful to the President of the Club Mr Mahmood Ahmad Shah Sahib for the initiative and providing a chance to the young generation to explore the Valley. Resuming it's Sunday treks after the holy month of Ramazan the Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering & Hiking Club on 8th of July organised a one day trek to Twin lakes of Alpather and Gagri Nag situated in upper reaches of Gulmarg. The trek witnessed an active participation of 60 participants along with 3 girl participants. Kudos to all the participants who completed the trek especially to Imad Wali a 13 year old student of legends public school. The trek was lead by Mr Gh Mohammad ( Gullu) @mountainloverskashmir along with Sayyed Tahir @str_adventures . The participants were highly thankful to the President of the club Mr Mahmood Ah Shah Sahib for organising the trek. And to mention here Mr Sunny Sajad Sahib was missed on the trek.
