When the sun goes down, the nocturnal Grasshopper Mouse heads out on the hunt. They are a ruthless predator that eats mostly insects, including scorpions. They are known to eat other small rodents as well. This is also the little mouse that howls! Trust me I'm underselling these guys. They are easily one of the most metal critters in history.
