let me rant about all you guys okay

I ALREADY TRIED TO DO THIS ONCE AND MY BROWSER JACKED UP SO… THIS PROBABLY ISN’T GONNA BE AS GOOD BUT… OK.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Honestly, I loved this kid from the moment I first picked up the first volume of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. His snarky humor and eerie wisdom beyond his years just made Ed downright fascinating to read about, and later to watch in anime form. On top of that, he wasn’t just your irritable antihero kid; he could also be exceptionally kind and selfless, even towards those he barely knew– like the miners at Youswell, for example. On top of that, he was just such a dynamic character; you could see how Ed grew and learned from his mistakes over time, becoming a better, stronger person along the way.How they play them:I just love that you don’t just focus on a few of Ed’s traits, like his hot temper or love of alchemy; you can really see the older brother in him, and it makes such a huge difference. He would do anything to protect the people he cares about, because they mean the world to him and in his mind, that’s just what a big brother is supposed to do. You show his softer side so magnificently well, hidden below the layers of gruffness and abrasive anger. Deep down, he’s a broken kid who is just trying to make up for his mistakes and set things right. The end result is so powerfully emotional that it lends every thread a special power that’s all its own. Your Ed muse is something just so incredibly unique that really, it’s downright distinctive. There’ll never be another person who can write him like you do, and I mean that in all the best ways possible.The Mun:We’ve known and roleplayed together for, what, three years now, and it’s been a wild ride. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, but I’ll tell you something; it’s been one of the most beautiful, incredible, unforgettable journeys of my life. I’ve seen you grow so much as both a person and a writer, and I couldn’t be more proud. You’re an unbelievably talented person, and just so kind and sweet. You can do things with words that seem just downright astonishing… I can literally count on one hand how many people have literally driven me to tears in a roleplay, and you’re one of them. And more than any of that, you’re one of my best friends, on or offline, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you.
