ANNOUNCEMENT: Sara and I are moving to the east coast in just a few weeks! I have big and complicated feelings about leaving Texas, but I'm also looking forward to what comes next for us.

I dont really know how to start this, It probably doesnt even matter to say anything since this won't affect anyone but me.. but I feel like I should say something somewhere in case someone somewhere cares.

Im so terrified of the thought of it, making such a massive change in my life with no idea how it will turn out.. I've moved around a lot growing up, not just from home to home but from state to state so this shouldn't be scary at all right?

But it is, its terrifying but I need it. I cant keep living the way I am in the place I'm in with the people around me.

I have to do this. I have to move away. I have to get out of this state completely or I'll always be stuck under someone's thumb.

I'm done being scared into obedience. I'm done making every step as soft as possible to avoid being punished and hurt.

By the end of this year or early next year I'm moving. I've already spent all morning calculating how much I'll need to save up, I have homes picked out, I'm researching crime rates and average ratings of anything that has one, I'm looking for a new job in the state that will help with relocation.. I am..
