Bio: Moya’s first mate aboard the Voyager. Age: 87 (53 human years, his species lives to about 160). An old soldier who serves under Moya. Strict, by the book, and a very serious individual. Does not tolerate foolhardiness among the voyage. Abides by his oath to keep the crew-members safe. Served with the captain ever since his rescue from a Lyrax prison camp and admires her greatly. Born as Cade Burroughs, he has a military background and at the age of 21, he enlisted as a soldier. He fought in the Lyrax War and became a hardened soldier because of it. He’s seen the worst of their species and developed a prejudice towards them for all the destruction that was wrought. Yet, has conflicted feelings towards Sky being a part of the crew. Although initially against her joining, he knows that she isn't the only Lyrax he's met that wanted nothing to do with the conflict. Due to his background and history as a soldier, he isn’t really one for small talk. His strict and no-nonsense attitude often clashes with his captain's more laid back personality. Despite this, he still remains loyal to her and will follow her into the abyss itself.
