Today was an unforgettable birthday! A few weeks ago, @jpat324 asked me what I wanted for my birthday, to which I responded, "I want to milk a cow.". Well, as usual, my loving husband bit only delivered, but went above and beyond. Today at @verdantviewfarm, I milked a Holstein cow (which, if you were wondering, was AMAZING), fed some calves, cuddled with/frolicked with/became a playground for/had some of my hair chewed off by some baby goats, made friends with a tiny, tiny cat and a really chill farm dog, and definitely weirded out the locals when I told them I asked to milk a cow for my birthday. It was a day full of farming magic and I am oficially obsessed with farm life. Take me back. But even more than experiencing the wonders of livestock, my best birthday gift was noticing how joyfully and lovingly John watched everything I did today. He not only took the time to plan our day today, but also chronicled every moment of my experience with photos and was clearly so excited when I was pleased by something. I am so blessed to have the most wonderful, loving, and self sacrificing husband every day of the year and I am so glad we got to spend the day together <3 Best. Birthday. Yesterday was just too busy to post...as usual, my Valentine came through with the most thoughtful gift of all time. I mentioned sometime in the past year that I want to start a blog where I watch through every single feature length Disney film in order of release (theatrical releases, sorry guys, no DComs!) This one put together a book with every movie listed on a spreadsheet with a rating chart so we can do it together!! We started last night with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, which John had never seen before :) keep an eye out for the coming blog. We've got about 2.5 years of Disney movies ahead.
