This Indian becomes Mr World 2018 and made India proud
Assam's Golap Rabha won Mr World 2018 under the World Fitness Federation (WFF)- World Body Building Federation (WBBF) Amber Prix champions held in Europe's Lithuania.
As indicated by a report, Rabha, 35, got gold in all the three categories he participate in — Men's Pro World Bodybuilding, Men Muscle Model and Pro Mr World in 80kg.
"I am feeling amazing being in the international stage and competing with the world class bodybuilders. The best is the point at which the foreigners were coming to us for photographs and asking for our numbers to come to India for training under us," the Telegraph cited Rabha as saying.
Rabha runs a gym center and trains six hours per day and he took up working out in 2003 under the guidance of Jiten Kalita, a body builder at Boko in Kamrup district.
Rabha has been achiever from the beginning, he won the Junior Mr Assam and Junior Mr Kamrup in 2008. Aside from this, he won the title of Mr India in 2017 and 2018 and Mr Asia 2018!
"It was 11 at night, I was excitedly sitting tight for the final result. Praying to god to bless him for his hard work, determination and enthusiasm. When I got the news, my tears streamed. I was speechless, hugged my daughter and cried." an overpowered Esha Sharma Rabha, Golap Rabha's wife said.
Assam's Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal additionally congratulated Rabha. In an announcement, Sonowal said Rabha's accomplishment in the WFF-WBBF title has made Assam proud and given a push body building out as a game.
