                                  DARK EYES REGARD THE man with equal parts disdain & apprehension. Of all the things the Spanish lack, dignity is apparently their greatest of shortcomings. First they seek to push their dismal excuse for a Princess upon the French & then, to add insult to injury, this stranger appears seemingly out of mid-air, endearments falling from his lips the likes of which she has never heard.  

The old oakwood table between them provides ample enough distance for now, arms folded tightly across her chest as she eyes him trying with little success to come to a logical conclusion.  No, not about what to do with her deranged mystery man, she’s already made up her mind to have someone throw him out the moment they return from wallowing in the mud or whatever servants do with their free time. ( She’s not quite sure who she’s going to designate the task to, but you can be assured he’s going to find himself thrown face first out the manor gates once she has. )                                       ❝ For the final time —— I haven’t the faintest idea what you’re talking about!  ❞ Oh, why doesn’t he just crawl back into whatever rock he’d crept up out from to begin with?
