i’ve been suffering intense nostalgia so I’ve been playing old and ancient early 1990s MS-DOS games online. So why not be lame hit the Oregon Trail from 1992 using “Da Vinci’s Demons” characters?
In 1848 Leo’s a carpenter (it was either that or blacksmith), so he had $800 to buy stuff for his wagon party. But obviously, of course, Zo bought the stuff if there’s $200 left over. And poor, poor Zo, he dies of “exhaustion” 34 days into the trip! It must be from putting up with Riario. Or, perhaps, it’s something more sinister...
Poor Vanessa, she dies three days after Zo! Did she know something? And Nico’s gone, too, by May’s end, swiftly getting “sick” and dying on the same day, as if it’s the Black Death.
June’s a horrible month for everyone’s favorite Count with anachronistic sunglasses. He gets snakebites. Snakebites three times! They are all in quick succession, within a span of eleven days. And then he, too, dies.
Poor bereft Leo, he doesn’t fare well. His solo journey drags into July. I didn’t capture a screenshot of his end, but it was from a snakebite somewhere in Wymoing. Unless it was really from heartbreak for his traveling companions.
