Is Web being conditioned to endure pain, solely for scientific inquiries, or is the goal still to get him to think of himself as a docile toy...?

(It’s a little of both. Dr Swan mainly wanted to see how the human body reacted to pain once being turned into a toy. And at the time Web/Oliver was the only candidate for said research so Dr Swan more wanted to see if this new body felt or reacted the same way as a normal human body would to outside stimuli.

The thing is, Dr Swan was solely placed to work with Web/Oliver and was given complete access to test any and every factor that pertained to a toy’s body. Elliot mainly wanted said research to gain insight on how to bring Poppy back and how she’d react in a new body before he actually did the experiment himself on her. Oliver was used to test those theories and hiccups that might hinder that progress. Though Dr Swan always took it quite a step further once it was just him and Oliver alone in there. Dr Swan tested anything and everything on the poor boy, seeing what he could handle and what he couldn’t.

Elliot himself didn’t even know how bad Oliver was actually treated during it all. He had given Dr Swan strict rules to make Oliver’s condition as comfortable as possible when preforming tests but Dr Swan didn’t like how Elliot seemed to rule over his research. He didn’t like how everyone else was praised while he was only given critics and “advice” on how to better perform said experiments. He isn’t stupid nor would he be viewed as a lowly rookie, so mainly he uses Oliver’s pain and suffering as a means to take it out on. He’d rather be doing this all to Elliot but Oliver is the next best candidate to cause the utmost suffering. The making him feel like a docile weak little toy is just the icing on the cake. Hope that makes sense. My brain is still blah)

I have to be real with y’all for a second. That sounds bad I’m sorry lol. Anyway…So I have been thinking that I make Web his own character, as in, not an Oliver, though I’m not sure how to go about everything. Mainly the fact of the matter is, I want to freely be able to RP him without being restricted to my rules because canon Proto is 10years old. So I’ve been thinking of giving him a completely new backstory, an entirely new original name, though his personality, looks, and people he cares about will still be the same.

I’d love to RP him like he’s supposed to be, flirty, egotistical, a nutcase, and I deeply desire you guys getting to be able to ask nsfw asks with him immensely. Those are fun, and his reactions to those would be hilarious lol.

Mainly I’ll be wiping his Oliver backstory entirely, though if y’all could, I’d greatly appreciate some help on things like, his new name, (don’t worry Web will still be his name, I just mean the name before he chooses Web), his experiment number, info for his prized possessions (the poppy flower and the bag) and all that that currently slips my mind.

All who will be staying will be Dr Swan, And Web. Day will be no longer a thing. So no more asks to him! ;3; …Unless stated otherwise. Also a very important note! Web, as soon as I finish lore and stuff which might be a while, will be moving to his own blog to combat this. That and being stuck as a side blog is not at all fitting for him. ;3; I also hate how each time stuff happens I accidentally post it on my other blog Lolol.

Anyway. Web will be getting entirely new lore, he will be becoming his own character. Dr Swan will still be heavily involved in his backstory. You will be able to ask him anything your little heart desires! Cause he won’t be an Oliver anymore! :D Poppy being his sister is being completely cut, the Dreaded Hour is being completely cut..;3; Sadly. Everyone he has interacted with and deeply cares about, he will already know who they are and love them dearly. So no need to worry about rekindling friendships or relationships! He will have his own AU section you can RP in lol! Cause I’d love to RP in the MerAU Lolol anyway.

Suggestions and tips for his new backstory and stuff are deeply appreciated, as is his new (human) name and experiment number and even actual birth date is greatly appreciated! :3 Please help me out! You guys love him so much that I feel he needs to be experienced at his full potential! :3 So please give me tips!!

Web will be getting move to an Entirely new blog soon and if I can make it so, the name will be “Immortalwebofinsanity” so it would also help if all my RP buddies send in their @‘s here so I can get a list and spam follow you all as soon as things are in order! As always, DMs are always open! But let me know your thoughts here or in DMs. Also let me know if you guys wish to keep the RP threads we already have going, if yes, you need to @ the other blog and send it to it as soon as it pops up for me lol!
