can't believe amuro and char's first actual meetings is amuro getting his car stuck in the mud and char amicably stopping to tow it out and exchange mildly arrogant pleasantries with the obviously alarmed sixteen year old enemy soldier. I think that's the nicest char has been to anyone the whole show so far.

I understand why char is such a well-loved character. despite his main goal seeming to be primarily killing his own allies he’s also the only antagonist capable of getting anything done. he just springs into episodes with his cocky little smile and goes I love killing!!! and then makes a well-executed exit as soon as things stop going his way. Only person in this whole show who is both having fun and has a healthy sense of self-preservation
