Amazon.com: Of Claws & Chaos eBook : Sinclair, M.: Kindle Store
Overcome by the exhaustion of her monotonous day-to-day life, all Evera wants is one fun night out. A chance to escape a rigorous work schedule that drains her of all semblance of happiness. When a mysterious portal consumes the air before her and an enigmatic, intense man pulls her through, she wonders if her wish is being granted.
As she’s swept into a foreign, magical land she doesn’t recognize, Evera finds herself separated from the man who pulled her there—a man who not only knew her name, but seemingly everything about her.
Completely alone, Evera treks through a mountainous landscape to reach the Kingdom of Nightfall. With each step, she encounters its foreboding and mysterious qualities, making it clear that she’s not on Earth anymore.
Arriving in Nightfall brings more questions than answers, though, as she discovers that not only does she have royal blood, but there’s a primal magic running through her veins that allows her the ability to shift into a wolf. What startles Evera the most to learn is that she had a life in this world before—with the very man who stole her through the portal: Axel, the King of Nightfall.
Memories begin to resurface, and she quickly recalls that Axel had been the only person she trusted—the only one standing between her and the darkness of her parents’ rule. But has time changed the man who once swore to protect her?
A war is waged between two kingdoms upon news of her return, and Evera is the prize.
A single question wreaks havoc in Evera’s heart: Does she want to belong to anyone at the end of this?

I am thrilled to be hosting a spot on the TIME FOR SENSIBILITY by M. Sinclair Blog Tour hosted by Rockstar Book Tours. Check out my post and make sure to enter the giveaway! Link in bio. About The Book: Title: TIME FOR SENSIBILITY: Only Time Will Tell (Women of Time Collection, #12) Author: M. Sinclair Pub. Date: August 28, 2020 Publisher: M. Sinclair Formats: Paperback, eBook Pages: 120 Find it: Goodreads, Amazon Do not read this book. No, seriously, I have absolutely no idea why one was even written about my life. This is ridiculous. Not only did I live in the middle of nowhere in a drug infested town, under the roof of a trailer that was literally collapsing on itself... but nothing, and I mean, nothing interesting has ever happened to me. Well, unless you counted being abandoned outside of a motel, picked up by my new foster father that was always too high to remember my name, or spending the last six years traveling the United States practically homeless. Oh! Let's not forget to include the jerk that I really needed to break up with because let's face it... he had actually started to scare me. A lot. I'd spent the last six years of my life feeling horribly out of place. Feeling like I was not only in a time that didn't fit me but in a place that was so lackluster that I had issues believing it was real. So when I tell you not to read this book? I mean it. There is nothing of interest in here. I promise. Well, I suppose there was one memorable and interesting moment in my recent past… the night of my eighteenth birthday. You know, the one where my four hot neighbors, and known criminals, kidnapped me onto a river boat. You could say I was confused when I found myself falling asleep floating down a Missouri river... and waking up to marmalade skies and a talking river otter with a hot pink top hat. None of that confusion though compared to when my four psycho kidnappers made me remember everything I'd forgotten. Because I had been right, I didn't fucking belong here. I belonged in the Kingdom of Snark. #reverseharem #timeforsensibility #msinclair #bookstagram #book #reading #booklover #bookworm #bookish #read #bookstagrammer #booknerd https://www.instagram.com/p/CEpKYJEg1uv/?igshid=bktkmnnhoo2q

So if you’d like a chance to win, check out the giveaway info in my bio. About The Book: Title: NEON DROPS (Tears of the Siren #3) Author: M. Sinclair Pub. Date: July 30, 2020 Publisher: M. Sinclair Formats: Paperback, eBook Pages: 260 Find it: Goodreads, Amazon I'd made the choice to survive Broken House. I'd chosen to live instead of taking the very obvious way out. At this point in my life, I shouldn't have been surprised that somehow living was more difficult than my previous ventures to find a way to die. I mean at least I had my men. Three kings. Three sexy, dominant shifters. What could go wrong with that? I mean really, what possible conflict could result in having six possessive, powerful men surrounding me at all times. I had no doubt that in true Louvre fashion the conflict would show itself at the most inconvenient time. Unfortunately, that wasn't all we had to worry about and the weight of our true situation was heavy and terrifying. There was a lot we didn't know. I mean, had Mr. Black really given up that easily? Somehow I didn't think that was the case. Better yet, why the heck does my stalker have such an odd fixation with origami animals? The most important question though? What the hell was coming for us that was so bad that a cosmic being had sought me out to warn me? Yeah, so as I said, living was f*cking complicated. Warning: This PNR slow burn RH contains dark themes. The book contains substance abuse, violence, swearing, PTSD, sexual assault, sexual themes (+18), and an array of other dark subject matters. great! #neondrops #msinclair #tearsofthesiren #paranormalromance #reverseharem #fantasy #romance #booknerdigans #booklove #bookstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CDRmwmAg2N9/?igshid=2n2dy98wg83l
What would …….. if ……. Were to be different?
My first, albeit failed, multimodal presentation for Designing Learning considered the concept of perception and my understanding of how individual students and teachers alike view the world, and teaching and learning, differently.
Now, at the end, I come full circle to the alternative forms of this Deleuzian question presented by Balanuye (2012) in The Fish Dissolved in Water: A Deleuze-Guattarian Experiment with Calvino.
How would we see ourselves and things surrounding us if our eyes were to have a miraculous capacity to perform at molecular levels? How would we call ourselves or how would we act if we were to be a consciousness without a body? How would we do if we were to be a body without any conscious determination?
Deleuze believes that what “we are supposed to deal with is not subjectivities or persons, nor objects of any kind. We need to deal with individuations which can best be grasped as events, individuations of events.”
Although not a philosopher at the level of Balanuye and Deleuze, the asking of these questions in their multiple forms has me wondering about the authenticity of my perceptions and conclusions. My questions are such that they might need an answer in the present but I must accept that answer will be irrelevant soon.
A need for alternative learning design tools
There is indeed, as discussed in Der-Thanq et al (2007), a dearth of design tools that can be applied to alternative teaching and learning strategies. While individual educators may desire to use a particular theoretical framework for learning in their classrooms, they may find that such ideology clashes with the design and instructional tools available. Team-based Learning has elements that can be mapped directly to cognitive as well as constructivist theories but it is difficult to redesign instruction to incorporate a broader range of instructional tools. It is my desire to reconstruct this practise to make it more amenable to change, becoming therefore, increasingly flexible in practise for both the student and the teacher.
Design Mindset
Although targeted toward technology design, these mindsets are important for anyone responsible for the design of anything that will be used by anyone else.
1, Show don’t tell - illustrate the vision.
2. Craft clarity - maintain a coherent vision of messy problems.
3. Be mindful of the process - where are you?
4. Radical collaboration - bring innovators together.
5. Bias toward action - doing and making is better than thinking and meeting.
6. Embrace experimentation - use prototypes to guide thinking and learning.
7. Focus on human values - maintain empathy and listen to feedback.
“We are comfortable with the idea that a “thing”, whatever it is, becomes what it is only through and out of relations with what it is not, that is, “through outside.” (Balanuye, C., 2012)
