1. Give evidences that show the giant was selfish.

The evidences that show the giant was selfish are when he was so annoyed seeing the children play in his beautiful garden so hescolded them in a very gruff voice and chased them angrily. Because of his action, the children were so frightened and they all ran away leaving the garden. Besides, the giant said to the children that he will allow nobody but only himself to enter the garden because the garden is only belongs to him and he decided to build a high wall around the garden so that when the children were coming from school, they couldn't enter and play in his large lovely garden anymore. The giant also put up a notice-board that says ‘trespassers will be prosecuted’.

2.What are the messages that you get from the story?

The messages that i get from the story are we don’t need to be selfish towards anybody. For instance, the giant get angry when the children play in his garden but he should feel glad instead because his beautiful garden became an attraction to the children. Next, we should share the happiness together. In this story, we could see that the giant didn't want to share his happiness with the children and he wanted to enjoy his garden all alone but after the children are no longer play in the garden, the garden became gloomy and covered with snow for a long time. He realized his mistake and was very sorry for what he had done. Then, spring arrived after he started let the children play in his garden.

3.Were you surprised with the ending? Why or why not.

Yes, I was surprised with the ending. It is because I thought that the giant will get a very bad punishment because of his selfishness and will never change to be a better human being but at the end of the story he realised that he made a mistake and was very sorry for the things he had done towards the kids. He became a very kind-hearted giant and loved to see the children happy playing in his beautiful garden until he grew old. I never imagined that he could said that the children are the most beautiful flowers of all and I was surprised when the boy who once received a help from the giant came back to take him to the garden of Paradise as a reward.

The Selfish Giant

Based on the story, there are some evidences to show that the Giant was selfish. For example, we must not be selfish because we will need others help too. I noticed that the Giant did not allow anyone plays in his garden but in the end he let the children to play and bring the Spring to his garden. is caring. This remind me of the Giant who built a high wall around his garden to forbid others. Moreover, other people won't like us if we are selfish. I was impressed by how the Autumn did not give any golden fruit to the Giant's garden because he was too selfish. (130 words)

2. What are the messages that you get from the story?

Based on the story, there are some messages that I got from the story. For example, we must share our things with others because it will make everyone happy. This remind me of how the children were so happy when the Giant let them play in his garden. Furthermore, we must not be selfish. I never thought that the Giant will help the boy to climb up the tree and the boy kissed the Giant as an appreciation. Moreover, other people will dislike you if you are selfish. I noticed that the Autumn did not want to give golden fruit to the Giant's garden because he was too selfish. (119 words)

3. Were you surprised with the ending? Why or why not?

Based on the story, I am not surprised with the ending because I believe that every good deeds will be repay with good things. This remind me of how the Giant's garden became beautiful again after he let the children play in his garden. Furthermore, I knew that the Giant will realize about the importance of the children. I noticed that the Spring did not want to come to the Giant's garden because there were no children playing. In addition, I am happy that the Giant died under the tree while covered with white blossoms after all of the good things he had done for the children. I was impressed by how the boy who he help to climb the tree bring him into the paradise. (124 words)

Mother's sacrifice for her child

I was born in 1996. The reason i am here untill now because of my mother. I was born when she was 28 years old. I am the third daughter in my family. I will never imagine how can I live in this big world without her. Now I am 19 years old, living in UiTM Segamat continue my study to make my parents proud. I have to struggle to make sure that my mom keep smiling watching her daughter's future one fine day. For me, make she smile is the best way to pay what she gave and did to me all this while. The biggest sacrifice from her is gave birth to five children. We are glad having such a perfect mother in and outside. She always motivate her children to be strong in life. She said whatever happened to us we do not give up and find the best ways to solve our problems. I hope that i can be like her one day when i get married and i promise that i will always protect her till the end of her life. I love her very much. Thankyou for everything mom. My mother's sacrifices.

My mother is the one who has conceived, gave birth to and raised me wonderfully. I couldn't imagine how was she bears all the pain during the delivery and I think that was the biggest sacrifice that she ever did not only to me, but also to my other siblings because she risked her life just for the sake of giving birth to her children. She is not an ordinary mom. She does everything that she could no matter in what aspect just for her children and family. Since I have reached the teenage phase, I might have some destructive behaviors that would let her down but she handled each of it with patient and gives me some constructive advice so that I can be a better person on every upcoming days. She loves to wake up early in the morning no matter how tired she is, serves food so we can have something to eat and does all the household chores even when she were just gets back from work without asking for anyone's help. She will make sure that I'm safe wherever I go, make friends with good community and living in the good vibes. Apparently, she puts her children before anything else, gives her everything just for make sure that all of her children’s needs are fulfilled in terms of money, clothes and foods no matter how hard it is. She takes the total responsibility to take care of her children and spent most of her time nurturing us since our first breathe up until our maturity hits us. Besides, she gives a lot of support to me, she taught me to keep moving when I am close to giving up. She lends me her ears to hear my problems and she lends me her shoulders for me to cry on as she knows that the best place to cry is on a mother’s arms. The only love that I really believe in is a mother’s love for her children and the best part is she gives me her heart which is the most valuable thing that I have ever had because there's the endless love from a woman that I called mother so, love and appreciate your mother while you still have time to show it. She has greatly influenced my life by teaching the value of love and life. Remember, mother’s love is what made we are today. If I talk about my mother’s sacrifices, it would be a never-ending story and everything that I said just now is just the introduction of her life book about me. Thanks for everything mom.

My Mom's Sacrifices

Mother. By listening to the word, everyone in this world noted about their sacrifices. I have a super mom and I called her 'Ibu' while others known her by her name, Isnawati Binti Gunadi. She has been sacrificed a lot for our family especially for me. To list for her sacrifices, it has no end. She carried me in her womb for 10 months technically with so much pain and made her suffer in her sleep. After that period, she gave birth to me hoping that I could explore the world and be a good daughter. Even though I was the lightest and smallest among my 3 sisters, I can't never imagined my mom's pain during at that time. Time flew by, she took care of me until now I'm almost 19. She make sure that I'm alert with ups and downs in life, I had learnt from my mistakes and teach me how to live my life to the fullest. I agreed that being a teenager is complicated but not anymore when my mom always been there for me even we are far apart. Before I entered UiTM, I studied in a private college. Although I got loan from PTPTN, my mom still top up some money for my expences during the semester. When my application to study in UiTM got approved, I saw tears of happiness streamed down my mom's face. At that moment, I knew she felt so relieved. A week before mid-semester break, I restrained myself from asking my mom for some money even though I only had RM16 for 4 days to survive before the break. I told myself that my mom need money the most during at that time for my 2 younger sister's school's stuffs. Problem getting more, money getting less, age getting older but my mom never showed her worried face to us. Some people may love when others are crying because of them but not for me. I already had enough when my mom cried because of me even for my silly mistakes. So that is why I'm doing my best to make my mom happy and proud to have me as her daughter because I knew that I will never can repay for all of her sacrifices. My mother sacrifice

I believe in love at first sight because i love my mother since i open my eyes.. Mother is such a special word and loveliest word i ever heard. There are many things that my mother sacrifice for me since i born in this beautiful and adventure world.

One of the sacrifice is my mother always take care of me when i get fever. She will care me until i heal from fever. She also will send me to clinic so that i can get well as soon as possible. My mother also wake up at the night to see me if i still has fever or not.

Then, my mother sacrifice is she always cook for me when i return to home. She will cook my favorite dish with delicious taste. This is why i really love my mother. When i ask her for one hug, she will give me one big warm hug. I feel really good after that. that hug can heal all my stress away.

Other than that, she also calling me through the phone all the time. Sometime it really annoy me, but when my mother not call me for one day i really miss her. I miss her voice and everything about her. It's true that mother and daughter has special bond.

Next, my mother sacrifice is she always delight my heart when i not happy. My mother is the first person who teach me how to be happy. She always said that i happy person will get off their tension easily. She also adviser to me. She always advise me to study hard so that i can help family in the future. When i need money to buy something i ask my mother then she give me money. I'm very sad that my mother has to spend a lot of money to me. So i decide to get the best result in exam so that my mother can proud of me as her first daughter.

Last but not least, my mother sacrifice is she easily forgive me when i make a mistake. When i get emotional sometime she will relaxing me. She will ask me to company her to go shopping. Sometime i also fight with my mother but she never angry at me but persuade me to remain calm. I salute to my mother way to make me remain calm. This is why i really my love. I love my mother for everything she has done.

Early in the morning, parents send their own kids to our kindergarten before they go to work. Many children bring their own toys to play together with their friends. When the class starts, we divided them into smaller group. Each group will have a teacher to guide them so that their safety will be more secure. One of the group was having fun playing "Thomas and friends" toys which have railway tracks,trains,coal,railway station and passenger. The other group, was learning about the alphabet from A to Z. The teacher will start saying the alphabet then the children will say the word starting with that alphabet. For example, 'G' for gun , 'D' for duck, 'W' for wing and 'S' for star. When the bell rings all the children will stop playing and go to the dining room for breakfast. We serve them uwith orange juice,eggs,and pies. We teach them on how to eat properly. After they finish their meals, we gather them and tell them any interesting folks stories that have moral values that can be learn by them. Before their parents fetch them to go back home. We have a singing session where everybody must sing in front of their friends. This is to increase their self-confidence.
