i just wanted to say MAJOR agree with msqpr. i wish it was more popular a reading.

I've been saying this!!! While I'm obviously chill with people shipping or not shipping scully and mulder however they like, I do think the queerplatonic label suits them so well, espescially in and around seaon 4. A lot of people like to make comments when the characters are in close proximity, or when they hug and give eachother forehead kisses, like "oh i bet they wish they were kissing right now!", but have you ever considred that they're completley happy with the state of their relationship? Maybe all they want is a partner who loves them to death and acts like a pseudo guard dog?

i know that was a bit of a ramble but ty for the ask, i TOTALLY agree, it should be way more popular!!

Sister showed me a post about m/f couples in media that are definitely bi for bi where someone had commented mulder and scully under it, and she asked if they were right and I said yes. Only one step closer to explaining to her that they're actually lesbians in a queerplatonic sexual relationship
