    how did she get here again?

    halloween started out rather tame, definitely on a family friendly level watching horror movies in the courtyard. blake knew it would venture beyond that, it had too. she was looking and feeling way too damn good to waste the night. so she had a few drinks here and there.

    ( okay maybe more than a few )

    the woman steps outside for the fresh air - away from all the sweaty bodies and stench of alcohol to catch a breath. while the night was definitely living up to her expectations, she just needed a break - mostly from the heels that were absolutely fucking killing her. 

    blake stumbles a bit, heels dragging against the concrete and arms flailing to grab ahold of something. if she fell right now, she knew damn well it would be awhile before she’d be able to get up. and as drunk as she was, the woman much preferred sleeping in her bed to the cold concrete. 

    her hand falls on someone’s shoulder, and normally she’d have the decency to apologize. but she’s tired and these shoes hurt. so instead she just chucks her shoes off, sending them flying a little further than she originally intended.

     “don’t mind me!” she announces, rather loudly considering whoever she’s grabbed onto is standing right next to her. “oh god, that feels so much better. those things are awful! they do make my legs look pretty great though, don’t ya think?”    ━━        ･ﾟ    @msukevin​​​​​    、

running in circles

Miao wouldn’t say he had a strict upcoming, but in a way he had. Miao’s uncle had always been strict when it came to school, hence Miao had always been at the top of his classes because of this, often Miao didn’t get much free time when he was at home, Miao and his uncle would always practice magic. It was funny to think about how Miao was doing so great in school when he cared so little about it, he rarely ever came to class, and often he only came to school to pull pranks at people. Still, because of Miao’s uncle, when he did show up he was good at the stuff.

Basically all Miao’s life, Miao had been great at everything, Miao rarely ever had trouble with anything. But now that he was in this mirror maze, he realized he wasn’t doing so well. At first it seemed like it was going well, now it seemed like he was going in circles. As Miao saw another human he grabbed their shoulder tiredly “please tell me… tell me that you know the way out”

“now why do you want to know that?” callie exclaimed in surprise, obviously taken back by the question. “it really wasn’t anything special-- it was back at hogwarts and... you know how kids are. give them a little freedom with a party and all of the sudden, you’re playing seven minutes in heaven in the common room.”

“i got matched with this one bloke, a senior who was two years above me and we snogged for those seven minutes. it really didn’t end well though. he got a bit too handsy for me so i clocked him the first moment i got. he was pissy for the rest of the year before he graduated, of course, and i got some points taken off from the house for causing a “commotion” and participating in “unchaperoned” activities. but it’s a funny story to tell now. even taejun still remembers it and brings it up from time to time while laughing -- ‘i still can’t believe you punched him! you’re so scary, callie.’ some story, right?”

nahyun loves this game. no matter how fascinated she was with the magical world, there was something nice about going back to just classic, normal muggle games. to be fortunate enough and get the best of both worlds thanks to her heritage, she knew how to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

like catching an apple with your teeth first try.

the moment she rose her head, some stray strands in her bangs wet from the water she comes face to face with a rather cute and lost looking wizard. smiling around the apple in her mouth, nahyun was as unbothered as always about her rather unorthodox appearance.

dotty fully feels like the luckiest girl in the world right about now. she’s been engaged (to be married! ahh, she never gets tired of saying that!) for three weeks now (exactly three weeks, actually!), and things could not be going better, in her opinion, at least. sure, her and kevin had both been busy, making this what’s definitely her slowest relationship so far. but — she finds she doesn’t mind that much, not really. because it’s different than the others. kevin is committed, she already knows that due to him already having proposed to her. besides, they’re soulmates! things are destined to work out. 

currently, dotty feels immensely proud of her fiancé. she hadn’t even been trying to hide the fact that she was full on cheering for a different house than her own during the matches, because — come on! how could she not?! kevin had done so well, even better than the more experienced chasers on his team! ohh, she has to let him know just how proud she is.

“kevin!!” she yells out, as she runs towards him, clad in her cheerleading uniform. the rest of his team seems to still be around, but dotty doesn’t care — she only has eyes for her man. once she’s close enough, she leaps at him, throwing her arms around his neck as her legs find their way around his waist. 

“you did so well, baby.” her expression is soft as she lets her gaze rest on his face, hands stroking his hair at the back of his head. “no other chaser did as well as you. of course my fiancé would be the best player on the team.” she giggles, before leaning in and closing the little that’s left of the distance between them, capturing kevin’s lips in a kiss.
