It is 2026 and the Yamaha MT-07 no longer has the most horsepower and torque in its class. Also, the Yamaha MT-07 is one of the smallest naked motorcycles in its class. Many people might think the Yamaha MT-07 has poor highway performance because of its small size with less power than other bikes in its class. But is that really true? I’ve owned my 2022 Yamaha MT07 for over seven months so far and have ridden it all winter long in Ohio with snow and salt on the road. Many people have complained about the MT07 getting rust on the bike, it being so cheaply built, poor suspension and some other issues. Over the years I’ve heard some people say the Yamaha MT-07 is cheaply built, has poor build quality with cheap components. Is this really the truth? In the past, I did not buy the Yamaha MT-07 because of what some people said about the bike being cheap.
