To keep her alive, in ME 2, you also had to semi-date her. Like, get her to your quarters, she will see you have fish and offer to take care of them (a godsend, for people like me who always wind up killing the fish in ME). But I always felt… weird about doing that because I romance Garrus and it feels like cheating. :/
yeah you don’t have to do that you know. i never do that and i always save her in me2. how to save kelly is the same as saving the rest of the crew, you have to go to the omega 4 relay as soon as the crew gets taken. you get one mission before you have to hit the relay or the crew, and kelly, die. missions are how time progresses in ME so if you do more than one mission you’ll be too late to save the crew. legion should have just joined your cew by this point, so go and do his loyalty mission, then hit the omega 4 relay, and you can save kelly and the rest of the crew. its a good idea to have everyone’s loyalty too, and the normandy upgrades so you don’t lose anyone on the approach to the collector base
