I saw The Wonder Years, Neck Deep and Real Friends yesterday. It was genuinely the best gig I’ve been to this year. I got a plec, two t-shirts, met Dan from Real Friends (who was so fucking sweet, he had us all in tears when he gave a speech about not rejecting people and introducing them to New music and making them happy), Ben from Neck Deep (who derped in the photo I got), and we all got on stage when they played Came Out Swinging. Cos got to sing, Soupy gave him the mic and hugged him. They played Living Room Song, which had me Joe and Cos in tears. Dismantling Summer, Passing Through a Screen Door, Came Out Swinging and All My Friends are in Bar Bands had me in tears too.
Best gig ever.
