The love has gone. Closure and neatly tied up endings are for movies, pathetic and half baked endings are for real life. Why are the bad times so much more indelible than the good? Is this how you know it’s always been wrong? But why then does her smiling face erase everything else I care about? Pain is progress, until you kill the feelings you need to grow. Then things start to feel stunted...and stuck. I guess it’s money then. Artificial, superficial, beneficial, sex and misuse. Is pursuing real connection too risky? Maybe I’ll give it another shot..
