Did a little exploring tonight, my sister, her boyfriend, friend, and I went for a drive to a few creepy/haunted/abandoned places. The first one was mudhouse mansion, Lancaster, Ohio. There are a few stories about it, one simply an old rich lady owned it and died there and it was left to her already rich nephew who left it to rot. another story was that it was owned by a family who had slaves and one day the slaves killed the family. Either way it is a house built into a hill on a large piece of land, surrounded by several out buildings (a barn, generator building and a few other). Either way its creepy! The house sets back off the road and the driveway too it is rather long. There are fences and private property signs all around, so we didn't go up to the house. Especially since it is very heavily watched. We did drive by slowly and stopped and sat in the car. My sister's friend and I were in the back and I tried to take a picture on my camera, but it was too far and too dark. However I did snap a picture with a ton of orbs in it, which were not dust or any outside elements. We were able to see it, again off in the distance, from another road, and again I tried to get a picture. This time my camera froze, completely. I just bought it before Christmas, like October, and its a nice Nikon coolpix. It has NEVER froze or anything. But around there it did and I had to open the battery port, close it, and restart my camera. It was pretty crazy! Anyone in Ohio hear of it? Any haunted stories from where you're from?
