i’m visiting my 3 year old cousin and she’s playing taylor swift while we play balloon volleyball.

she asked me if i like taylor swift - i answered honestly and said no. she proceeded to do the typical toddler thing and ask me why, so again i answered honestly and told her i just like other types of music.

the questioning continues because, as established, she’s 3. “do you not like the way she sings?” i just like other types of music. “do you not think she’s great?” i just like other types of music. she’s at the point developmentally where that answer doesn’t make sense to her, and that’s okay.

what’s not okay is that i’ve had nearly this exact same conversation with grown adult swifties. getting questioned and providing the same answer over and over to avoid offending them while they refuse to accept that my preferences are different than theirs.

there are men and women in their 30s displaying literal toddler behavior over a billionaire with mid musical talent who only sees them as dollar signs in her bank account.

earlier today my coworker said cats like basements so they can be closer to satan and do his evil deeds

my agent of satan came to me crying and has not left my side for the past 20 minutes bc there was thunder outside an hour ago
