Considering that such a meeting is impossible due to different versions of the King being unable to exist in the same timeline, not too hot.

The only way I could see this scenario happening is if both Avery and Derek stayed in the platform and became vessels, upon which the King would 100% smash them together like barbie dolls while the two (Avery and Derek) would likely watch in horror and simultaneous jealousy because they'd rather be in their own bodies to kiss each other.
