Cyrus refuses to go on any rides except for the Ferris Wheel because he wants to pretend to reenact the scene from Love, Simon with TJ. TJ happily obliges, although it takes a turn for the worst when TJ suddenly remembers he’s scared of heights. “Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe--” Cyrus reassures just as the ferris wheel makes an awful creaking noise, causing TJ to jolt. “Just tell me when it’s over!”

Buffy, Marty, and Jonah compete to see who can go on the Tilt-a-Whirl the most times in a row. Marty is the first to go out, but he cheers Buffy on from the sidelines. They eventually have to call a tie because neither of them can see straight after the 14th time in a row. 

TJ wants to go on a spinning ride with Cyrus, but of course Cyrus says no. TJ wonders why not, which leads to Cyrus recounting the shoe incident. “Wait, in your shoe?!” “It was the only place, okay?” 

Andi and Amber get matching face paint. 

For some reason, Cyrus is AMAZING at whack-a-mole. He wins every time that he plays, gifting TJ a big stuffed tiger by the end. 

TJ and Buffy have to compete in the basketball game, then proceed to call the game a hoax to the person running the stand when they both do terrible. Cyrus also happens to be really good at this game. // “Maybe I should join the basketball team next year!” // Buffy glares at him. 

Andi, Buffy, and Cyrus go on one of the roller coasters together and pose for the camera when it takes pictures. No matter how hard Cyrus tries, he always looks terrified. 

Marty gets an awful sunburn that Buffy teases him about relentlessly. 

Cyrus and Andi go on a bunch of kiddie rides together. 

Buffy and Marty go on the haunted house ride together, and neither of them will admit afterward that they were clinging to each other in fear the whole time. Meanwhile, Andi and Amber can be heard laughing throughout the whole thing. 

Cyrus buys a bunch of tater tots from different stands and critiques them compared to the baby taters from The Spoon (none are as good, of course). After eating all of the tater tots, Cyrus decides he probably shouldn’t go on anymore rides to be safe. TJ keeps him company.

Muffy first real fight headcanon? but you know it was probably shit something stupid

-it’s starts over something stupid like who’s better at basketball, they start teasing each other and then they start full on arguing about it and they both unintentionally hit some nerves.

-buffy ends up accidentally saying something marty is sensitive about and he ends up storming off

-they ignore each other for a few days which ends up being really hard because they’re in the same friend group

-they both feel extremely bad about the things they said but neither of them know how to apologize

-marty wants to apologize but he wants buffy to apologize to him but he feels like she won’t so he doesn’t know what to do.

-them ignoring each other reminds buffy of when marty confessed and buffy turned him down and him avoiding her.

-buffy goes to tj and amber and asks them what to do because they’re the ones closest to marty.

-little does she know marty does the exact same thing with cyrus and andi

-buffy ends up going to marty’s house and talks to him about it and genuinely apologizes and marty returns the apology and they realize how stupid the argument was in the first place

-they decide to go on a date playing laser tag to make them feel better

-andi, amber, cyrus and tj realize a little too late that they were going to the others for advice and get tired of them not knowing what to do so they tell them they have something “important” to show them and they lock them in a room together and refuse to let them out until they apologize.

-they tell he others they had already genuinely apologized and were good again but they don’t believe them,,,

-marty and buffy just use it as time to continue their light banter, making sure not to make the same mistakes as before

After the first snowfall of the year, Buffy and Marty declare a never-ending snowball fight. They’ll randomly attack each other with a snowball when they least expect it. Sometimes, it’s when they’re walking into school, sometimes it’s on dates, and one time Marty threw one at Buffy’s window, but failed to realize it was open and got water all over her notes which she was furious about. To make it up to her, Marty spends the entire night deciphering the blobs and rewriting them. They may not be perfect by the end (because Buffy definitely did not write the words “pizza” or “disco” in her science notes), but she thinks it’s super sweet and kisses him on the cheek in thanks. But she never lets him forget the snowball incident, either.

13. What small quirks do they love about each other?

Cyrus has this face that he makes when he’s concentrating/thinking about something where he furrows his eyebrows together and chews on his bottom lip and cocks his head and TJ finds it super cute and endearing. 

TJ taps out beats and rhythms with his fingers and feet when he’s sitting around doing nothing which Cyrus thinks is funny. 

Cyrus separates M&Ms by color because he claims they all taste different despite TJ’s assurances that they all taste exactly the same. Still, TJ makes sure to always give Cyrus the green M&Ms.

TJ snores softly in his sleep and while some people may find it annoying, Cyrus thinks it’s cute. Also, Cyrus talks in his sleep which he’s super embarrassed about, but TJ thinks it’s hilarious when Cyrus starts blurting out random words. 

Cyrus usually wears a watch and checks his wrist for the time even when it isn’t on. 

15. What are somethings that they do for one another because they know their partner hates it? Ex- do the dishes, phones to make an order, talks to sales clerk. ECT 

Buffy absolutely despises doing laundry, so Marty becomes the one who does both of their laundry (also, he’s really good at getting stains out and making their clothes smell amazing)

Marty doesn’t like dealing with conflicts/problems that they have, whether it be complaining about the noise from their neighbors, fixing a wrong food order, etc. Buffy, however, makes certain that all of these are solved for them. 

They both hate grocery shopping, so they take turns getting stuff to eat (or just takeout because that’s easier

Imagine Muffy and Tyrus fighting over ship names because Muffy sounds too much like muffin and “mUfFiNs ArE oUr ThInG oKaY??”

YES AND TJ IS THE ONE WHO SAYS IT BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW PROTECTIVE HE IS OVER HIS BOY AND HIS MUFFINS. 

Marty: “Muffy is officially a thing!” 

TJ: glaring with his arms crossed. 

Cyrus whispering: “What’s wrong?”

TJ: “Muffy sounds like muffins, and that’s our thing! They stole our thing!”

Buffy: “We did NOT steal your thing! They’re completely different!”

TJ: “Nuh uh!”

Buffy: “Uh huh!”

And it goes on like this forever

4. Who picks something up, says a pun with the object then laughs as if it’s the funniest thing they ever heard? 

Marty! And Buffy glares at him when he does it, so of course he starts doing it constantly just to tease her. When Buffy eventually gets too fed up with it, she’ll start playing along with the puns. This makes Marty quit instantly because it’s no fair how amazing Buffy is at puns, even though she hates them!

12. Who presses their nose against their partner’s cheek before kissing them?

Ooh this is a tough one, but I would say Marty! I think he likes doing it because it tickles Buffy’s cheek and makers her nose scrunch up all cute and her dimples show.

Marty, Jonah, and TJ start going on quests to find the grossest, weirdest bugs they can. They find this giant, black beetle thing, and TJ throws it on Marty, who SCREAMS. He screams so loud that it alerts Buffy, who was coming to meet him for their date. When she sees what happened, she narrows her eyes before reaching down and picking up then beetle to let it crawl all over her hand. She says, “For someone who ate a live frog, you’re really squeamish!”

So Marty and Buffy are the type of people who don’t like the typical dates where you get dressed up all fancy and go to a restaurant. They always try to think of super unique and fun date ideas. 

Marty is really good at being subtly romantic. He does things like open doors for Buffy or play her favorite songs in his car or let her pay from things sometimes (because she constantly insists on paying for their dates).

They’ll always find new teasing yet cute nicknames to give each other every single day based on what they do. For example, things like Fingerfoot or Marathon Boy for Marty, or Vampire Slayer or Curly for Buffy. 

The dates they go on are hardly ever serious. Most of the time, they end up laughing and having a really good time. In fact, once when they’re getting food at The Spoon, Marty laughs so hard that water comes out his nose. 

They get to know all of each other’s little quirks really fast. Buffy likes iced coffee with three packets of cream. Marty usually needs two forks because he always drops his first one. Soon, they’ll just have things ready for each other.

Once, Marty takes Buffy to the beach for a date and gets a super bad sunburn. Buffy calls him lobster for a week. 

Although Buffy can get discouraged easily if something doesn’t go as planned, Marty is great at improvising and making her feel better. When rain interrupts their day at the park, they end up splattering around in the mud instead. When Buffy gets sick on their 3 month anniversary, Marty goes over and makes her terrible soup and watches her favorite shows with her. 

A lot of their dates involve sports. They’re determined to try a bunch of sports to see who can beat the other more. This leads to them trying things like tennis, baseball, rugby, and croquet. Even though both of them are athletic, they soon figure out that there are a lot of sports they both suck at, but they have a blast trying them together.

Amusement parks are one of their favorite go-to date places. They both love rollercoasters and the games and food. They always come back with armfuls of prizes they won. 

Even though they prefer to go out and do stuff, sometimes they just need a day in. On these days, they’ll watch youtube fail videos and sport game repeats together. This usually ends with them falling asleep on Buffy’s couch (and Buffy’s mom always comes and covers them with a blanket)
