ATTENTION ALL MUG-LOVERS!!!!

I just stumbled upon the mugs of my DREAMS for sale on Etsy! Sadly, they are a bit out of my price rage but I’M IN LOVE AND IT HURTS.

Not only is there my most beloved little blue mug but there’s also the pink mug I keep trying to convince myself (and y’all) is canon?!?

The artist who makes them is insPOTTERed on Etsy and you should definitely check them out!! I’m absolutely in awe of their attention to detail with these :).

And as always, if you buy a mug (especially this mug)....SHOW ME THAT MUG!

Hello! Could you please give me a lecture on all the qualities you look for in a magnificent mug?

Haha giving a “lecture” sounds a little formal for a blog dedicated to ds9 mugs but I’d be happy to share my favorite mug qualities in friendship :)

So the big three for me are:

1. Handle - I love a good handle! For me, this is the one downside of the Highwave (modern) ds9 mugs you can buy today. Sadly, these new mugs have a smooth handle when the ones used in the show had such interesting shapes!

2. Shape - Whether it’s a little blue mug, or a taller green mug, I adore the bottom-heavy shape! It’s just so unique and I love that they made this design choice for the show. Like yes!! Let ds9 be unique!!! Let them have the most recognizable mugs!! (In reality the mugs are designed this way to eliminate spills but I like to think it’s because they are.....space...mugs)

3. Size - I really am a sucker for those small blue mugs. They just look so right in someone’s hand-- I cant stand it! Especially when it comes to Garak or Julian. The tiny handle always makes it seem like the two of them are having their own little tea party or something.

Oh hey I've seen that one too!! That one has such awesome style, and you're right it is cheaper AND free shipping in the U.S. (sorry non U.S. people!)

I was just really excited about those little blue and pink mugs the other night because I haven’t been able to find the actual ones from the show anywhere! ( <- I think I’ve mentioned this in another post?) Anyways, I know I’m rambling but I really am a sucker for any mug that looks like a ds9 mug :))
