Hi Guys !! This is Johnson for JohnsonMalaysia.com your Local tour guide in Kuala Lumpur.
My home
I personally stayed on the very spot where todays tallest building standing. It was former Public Work Department’s Houses with lime plastering wall and ample space . I love old buidings ! The neighbor was a hockey coach, nice man, he moved out later. I had a dog then, space to play badminton and the football field just across the house. Behind the house was a wet Chinese Market. This place has its own history.
The New Big Boy
Exchange 106 skyscrapers standing at 492m, now officially the tallest building in Kuala Lumpur metropolitan city. It surpasses Petronas Twin Towers (452m) by 40m as the tallest building in Malaysia. Petronas towers with each 88 floors compare to Exchange 106 with 106 floors. The tallest building on the planet earth is still Burj Khalifa in Dubai at 830m.
New Financial hub
The Exchange 106 office block is located in the Tun Razak Exchange, or TRX, a newly geared to become Kuala Lumpur’s financial magnet district. The well planned MRT station is located underground allows efficient public transportation. The owner of Exchange 106 and TRX is Indonesian developer Mulia Property Development and Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance.
Cost ?
The BIG BOY skyscraper’s cost of construction is still a mystery to the public for now, but I believe it will be made known at the right time by the finance minister. As a Tourist it will be exciting to go up to top level. The night view here is like special starts glittering in the sky.
