Normally when he had these types of breakdowns, he tended to get so terribly frazzled. He would ramble on and on, locked in his thoughts and his perception of things when it came to whatever had gone wrong in that particular moment. But it was so much different today, he honestly felt like he had hit rock bottom. He was so tired, so tired of trying, so tired of failing and feeling like he wasnāt enough. It was so taxing on him and he was only 16.
Ā He had thought he was alone in his mess of emotions, after all he felt alone enough in this damn coven. The last thing Hunter needed was for some guards spreading around that theĀ ābratā finally broke. He wanted to scream at them to leave him alone, but finding his voice was far harder than expected. It was like the air was trapped in his lungs and it was burning, all the while his thoughts were buzzing around far too loudly for his liking.Ā
But Memphisā words managed to cur through those thoughts. Just barely but with every word they spoke, it became clearer. Slowly, he followed the instructions of his mentor with a few unsteady breaths in time with the counting.
One... Two.... Three.... Four..........
