hey, so i wanted to bring up that muses played by jewish fcs should be played by jewish fcs. this was something i noticed in this group, specifically with star wars characters. also, as a trans person, it's pretty accepted to use cis fcs for trans/enby/non cis identities because hollywood doesn't have an overflowing amount of trans/enby/non cis fcs in all age ranges. i don't know your pronouns or how you identify, but as someone who is not cis, i feel like that should be allowed.

as soon as i read your posts abt everything that happened i left everwell immediately. i had no idea. thank you for doing this, really. i can’t believe i considered some of those people friends and they turned out to be horrible people

the amount of people that have said this is sad, really. some people in this group believed they had great friends, when in reality their friends were doing all this behind their backs.

please look out for yourselves. you all deserve better than being associated with that.

I hope you're doing okay these people are brutal but thank you so much for speaking out about this. My friend was bullied out of the group because a close friend of the admin wanted her character AND I have a major problem that findrps the huge discord group to promo groups promoted the group for a month in their spotlight.. the essentially send people to this hostile rp full of cliques and racism and ableism.

findrps has actually taken down their server recommendation, and banned the admins from their discord server. i place no blame on the owners of findrps since they had no way of knowing this was happening behind the scenes.

i’m sorry about your friend, and anyone else who fell victim to this behavior.

as someone whos been in multiple groups that have exploded with drama and expositions about the problematic behaviour of their admins - a lot of the time, its incredibly difficult to speak out against groups you're STILL a member in. you dont know whos close to the admins, theres obvious favortism, theres patterns of being left out of plots, ooc groups, ic events, etc, and these patterns are enforced when you mention having an issue or go to an admin with problems when they want to turn a blind eye to it. ive even had admins deliberately plot or make announcements when i was offline and in a different timezone just to make me feel excluded.

maybe op didnt bring it to attention in the past, but theyre doing it NOW, and im so happy they are!

this! exactly this! it is so hard to come forward when you’re in a group and everyone is constantly on about how perfect everything is, how they talk to the admins in dms all the time, how they love having game nights with the admins. it’s extremely isolating and hard to feel any type of confidence coming forward about anything.

if you’re in this position in any group (though i am multifandom specific), i will gladly help you, or just listen to what you have to say. you’re never alone and should not feel that way. it’s isolating and sad to feel so alone.

anyway im so relieved someone is finally calling out everwell for what it is and the members who are so obviously at fault.

i left in the past for a number of reasons, namely how ostracised and excluded i felt even though i was actively trying to plot and post starters for people (also because real life took priority), and this group always ALWAYS left a bad taste. the admins dont take on any type of criticism and have a noted history of deflecting from any issues and acting like people who arent in their immediate bubble/the people who are coming to them with valid concerns are the ones at fault. even outside the admin group, ive had bad experiences with other members in everwell, both ic and ooc - and seeing direct connections between the admins who allow all this and the members who are the main perpetrators is incredibly telling for what these people are like.

also, i CANNOT get over them allowing people to have up to like 30 muses. come on.

just here to comment on the muse thing, i’m begging muse limits to be implemented again. everywhere. it’s impossible for someone to write thirty characters at a time. it will be full of bubble rp and a majority of the characters will end up being written the exact same way.

the rest of the ask is important, i just wanted to make a comment there because i think it could help groups in the future.

something i have yet to be seen talked about: the fetishization and stereotyping of mlm and wlw characters. wlw characters were portrayed as aggressive, hostile, and man-hating. meanwhile, mlm characters were seen as uwu naive babies who could do no wrong. that's not even going into how they infantilized their bipoc as well when they're playing 23+ year olds acting like children.

i saw some of this within the servers as well. do better. poc do not need you to infantilize them. lgbtq+ characters do not need you to fetishize or stereotype them. do. better.
