#multigender experience

Not exactly multiphobia, just wanted to say I love being multigender. Despite living in a place where being any type of queer is illegal, despite the fact that I probably will have to live all my life in a closet. I love being me and no one will take it away from me.

I love being multigender so much!! I dont live in a supportive place either, but Ill be damned if Im not going to love myself for who I am just because society doesnt. I love being me, with all the "contradictory" and weird labels, I love being queer and I refuse to let anyone take who I am away from me. As long as I exist Im gonna be myself and fight for the right to be me, and as long as I exist Im gonna love and care about others, like me and different from me, and fight for them. Im going to make the space around me safe for them to be in.

I share your feelings Magpie, being multigender means being myself and that is beautiful. It gets tiring with the bigotry but that's why we need community, we need to rely on others and to feel loved for ourselves and to be protected too, so that we know we're not alone and that things can change for the better <3 Im glad to exist here as multigender alongside you!

not multiphobia ask but you wanted opinions on nonbinary identities and their connection to being trans or not, and for me, I don't really see myself as "trans" because there's nothing I'm transitioning into. I am already this, and I'm not really "changing" myself, but adding more onto myself. I'm multigender systemfluid. And a lot of my alters have different genders than me, so collectively, we together are many genders, and how it feels is just being multiple genders at once.

So I wouldn't say I'm trans, but I understand others can identify themselves that way. I just don't and don't really feel I'm seeking transition either.

I suppose another way to call it is "isogender". But nonbinary is the preferred label. :3

It makes me really happy to see you sharing your experience! That's awesome, being non binary and multigender and not trans is super valid, I completely get what you mean. So today I had an epiphany? I’m multigender. I realized that my experience of YEARS of self doubt/gender confusion/going back and forwards over whether I am transfeminine and nonbinary or a femme gay man was just like a weird Different flavor of Dysphoria. The reason why I couldn’t neatly sort myself in to one of those two things makes a lot more sense. I get a kind of gender dysphoria from the fact my genders “conflict” even though I identify with both of them wholly and love being both of my genders. Like I wonder if that’s a common experience of multigender dysphoria? It kind of sucks that the “multigender” tag is full of discourse and not people sharing their experiences and/or resources
