(From Qrow - dustyqrowofmisfortune) He knows it's his Cowboy's birthday but grand gestures just weren't his thing so he did the best thing he could. Out on the porch are two set-ups with food from their favorite little place in town and a small box. Qrow is a bit fidgety as Clover opens it to reveal what looks to be a re-make of his badge but in the middle of the clover is a small image of a crow. "Happy Birthday Cowboy."

It had been a mostly quiet day, spent training and making a run into town to get a few things partly for himself but mostly for Qrow and Tai too. Sure it had been his birthday but that didn’t mean he was gonna splurge in over abundance on himself. Of course it was late by the time that he’d gotten back. The sun beginning its decent further behind the horizon and into the trees as he made his way back to the house.
He’d just managed to get the last of everything put away when he heard Qrow enter into the kitchen behind him. Glancing up and seeing the other point back outside over his shoulder Clover just gave a nod and followed. Although he hadn’t expected anything really extravagant, this was far more than he could have asked for on his birthday.
Taking a seat on the edge of the porch Clover took the box that was waiting for him in hand and opened it. Seeing the pin that had been much like the one he’d let Qrow hold onto only this one had the silliouette of a crow in the center. He stopped and stared at it for a long moment and as Qrow spoke he looked over. All he could do was smile like an idiot really. “Thank you Qrow. It’s amazing.”
