Baby, It’s Cold Inside

It’s cold.

baby it’s cold outside...but, I think we both feel the same about the music from this time of year (December Cheer)...so, I’ll have to scribble a few of my own lines:

It’s cold as fuck.

got shit done but, this day totally sucked.

I’ve got jackets, blankets, cats and...well, a notable absence of bats.

the ‘fire’place has its space...as a heater, my seasonal electricity eater leader.

...but, I’m the male motherfucking Goldilocks and, tonight, nothing seems to feel ‘just right.’

there’s a girl I know, who makes my black heart glow.

[Dr. please...I get this is cheesy but, it the ramble bamble, syntactic scramble, puts my restless mind at ease...]

she occupies my mind; all the time.

the embers in her eyes could melt snow.

feeling like a jerk because the doctor needs to work... so, I sit and scribble, occupy an anxious mind, as the cold continues to linger. seeping into; sinking into my bones.

her head is busy...but, holding onto hope, she remembers...and, turns her mind to me these nights in December.

my arms, they’ll know just where to go.

she’ll nestle her head; snug close in bed.

I feel a shiver instead.

she’s the heater; I fucking need her.

suddenly it dawns on my life, like some massive, bright but broken light landed squarely on my head...

I’m living in a place but, it’s just a space...my geolocation on this living space station, hurtling/spiraling, through the cold vacuum of space at an extraordinary pace...

my senses are in consensus,

with her head on my chest,

they let me know: I’m home.
