I am stuck in a 6 hour train ride with two kids. Lucky one is asleep and the other one is being distracted by Moana so I'm just writing the next chapter furiously on my phone lmao.

Another public holiday Monday standing over the sink with fabric softener[1] to detangle My Little Pony hair. I should get my sense of smell back in time to cook dinner.

I thank the stars I we never got her Barbies. From personal experience I remember screwing up Barbie hair and She-Ra series figurine hair. It is not great.

Family have started buying her other dolls now though, gods help me. Someone needs to start a company selling doll wigs. Would solve so many problems.

*cries* I can’t stop smelling fabric softener.

[1] The ‘hypoallergenic’ on the bottle probably means it burns your sense of smell away so you can’t tell what the hell you might be allergic to anymore. Just FYI.

So, me and The Hubby are both ill. E is still powering through, with an abundance of song and laughter, which is helping my headache tremendously (sarcasm). I'm having to look after all three of us, and the food shop needs doing, the house needs tidying, and my hair needs brushing. I think I may manage only one of those things. My get up and go has got up and gone. Bring me pizza.
