Ooooooo for the wip ask game, if you haven't already I wanna hear all about Stick It Val (I can't get enough of it)
And I See Right Through You!!
If you want, of course-
I've been thinking about this ask for so long, and while I don't really have the time to start working on both fics to make them properly, I did manage to write some short snippets of the story!
For the first au "Stick it Val" I'm thinking about renaming it "Stick it to the Vs" because while I do like Vox's character, it can't be denied that he really enables Val. And that's something I wanna explore in the au bc how can he do that while also having a relationship with Angel?
Anyway, for the snippets, here's "I see right through you"
It took a moment for the machine to start working after Kallus pressed down the button, but soon the caff started flowing down into the cup. It was a shitty quality one, too watery and yet strong for some reason.
As the caff finished pouring, Kallus saw Garazeb making his way into the Intel headquarters. Taking the full caff cup away, he put a new one into the machine and pushed the button that would once again pour hot liquid down.
Hopefully, Garazeb would appreciate the gesture.
& a (spicy? idk they're making out) of the staticspider au!
Vox pushed the spider down on the couch, kissing all the sounds out of Angel's mouth before they could sound out in the room. His hands roamed over Angel's back, trying to feel out as much of the spider as he could while Angel's hands worked in unison to try and get Vox's shirt off.
"Need help?" he broke the kiss and asked, Angel laughed in answer as he finally pushed the dress shirt down Vox's shoulders.
"Shut up and kiss me again." The spider said as he pushed the TV demon off and crawled into his lap.

Tikki loved hugs. It was a fact written in her personality that Marinette learned soon after her first transformation as Ladybug. The lucky little kwami would push her cheek to her human in a hug or wiggle into her arms to be held close whenever she could. Marinette found it another piece of the puzzle attributed to the lovable aspect of her small friend.
Marinette picked the habit up a few months later. Alya received a hug whenever something worth celebrating took place. She would wrap her arms around the reporter and give a squeeze within a second. Her parents were never one to turn away a group hug from their beloved daughter, either.
The affection for hugs seeped slowly into her persona as well. Though Ladybug knew a hug would only spur Chat Noir's inevitable crush, the hero simply couldn't resist. After a particularly bad battle the pair would share the traditional fist bump and it would end in a fleeting grab towards the kitty. After fleeing the scene Marinette would groan while alone in her room, and it was a given that Chat's flirting would multiply by a tenfold during their next patrol.
After the discovering of identities and the working through of issues brought up with their civilian and hero halves, Adrien caught the hugging bug. It affected him at a snail's pace, mostly due to the fact that after any embrace Marinette - and, for a short while directly after the reveal, Ladybug - would dash the other way, red faced and flustered. But it seeped into his mannerisms none the less, and he grew accustomed to hugs from both sides of Marinette's life. He would return the longed for warmth with vigor and spread it around to Nino. On particularly cheerful days, Chloe would recieve a squeeze as well.
Tikki immediately relished the hugging chain that she had started. What wasn't there to love about a hug? They could be platonic and romantic, they offered comfort but also peace. She adored her hugs more than ever, because what better way was there for a person to show affection towards anyone they wished but through a playful squeeze?
If you've ever seen the "100 Ways to say "I love you"" post on tumblr, that is what this little fluff one shot is based on. This is #2 - "It reminded me it you."
Summary - Chat gets a gift from Ladybug. The cat's eye refers to the stone nicknamed cat's eye, not at actual eye.
It was sudden, the swishing of a yoyo being the only warning given before a small parcel fell into Chat Noir's lap, the gifter landing a moment after.
"Afternoon, kitty cat. Don't let that go to your head, now." Ladybug spoke in a tone that bordered on a glare if he even thought about becoming egotistical over the present.
Chat, on the other hand, only grinned up to her. "And what is the occasion, My Lady?"
Ladybug scoffed. "Just open it, Chat."
He did, taking care not to harm whatever could be inside with the claws of his black gloves.
"It's a cat's eye." She broke in before he could open his mouth to ask, "And it just reminded me of you, all right? That's all it is."
Her partner clad in black only grinned wider before pressing a hand dramatically to his heart and throwing his head back to flip his hair. "Why, My Lady! I never would have guessed you to be one to think of me when we are apart!"
Ladybug looked away with a grown. "Hush, Chat, or next time it'll be a crown of bird feathers to match that bird sized brain of yours."
"What was that, My -"
"I'm kidding, kitty. Just accept it graciously, would you?"
The cat gave in and reached for one of her hands in order to press a kiss across her knuckles. "Thank you, Ladybug. I shall treasure it."
All righty so...post reveal Chat/Adrien and Marinette.
If you've ever seen the "100 Ways to say "I love you"" post that floats around Tumblr, that's what this is based on! I decided to try and do a Miraculous Ladybug one shot for each number. This is number 4 - "Come here. Let me fix it."
Short version - Tikki wakes Adrien and he comes rushing over because Marinette had a nightmare and is unable to calm down.
I hope you like it! Please message/comment/whatever if you'd like me to post more...I'm a little nervous about posting my work.
Tikki had tried to calm Marinette down. Really, she had. It just wasn't working, and she resorted to finding the girl's phone on the hope that Adrien was still awake. The voice on the other end was thick with sleep, though after a moment of silence from Tikki he sounded much more awake.
"I-Is that Marinette crying?"
"Yes, Adrien." "
What h-happened? Were you attacked? Is there an Akuma? Marinette, is she hurt?" Adrien rambled off questions as he grabbed for Plagg and transformed.
The kwami hummed slightly into the cell phone, waiting for the boy to pause and take a breath. "Adrien, listen to me. We are not hurt, there was no attack and there's not an Akuma anywhere. She had a nightmare and I can't calm her down."
"O-Oh..." That only lessened the worry quickening his heart beat by a tad bit. She wasn't wounded, but that didn't mean Marinette was okay. "I'll be there in ten."
Tikki chirped in acknowledgment and hung up, then turned to make sure her charge was tucked in as best as a kwami of her size could manage. Next she flitted over to the door of the balcony to wait.
Chat Noir lept over the railing right on time. After all, who was he to keep his lady - and a distressed one, at that - waiting?
By the time Tikki had the door open to let him step inside, Marinette had quieted down into shakes and whimpers. The black cat frowned, what on earth could she have dreamed about?
"Princess?" Chat spoke, voice low to avoid startling her. He was racked with worry and he could hear it in his words. "It's just me, Chat."
It only took a second, just a quick second, for Marinette to move from her curled position over to the wall farthest from him and her bed. It was full of blind stumbles, as her eyes were shut to avoid the spill of more tears, but a second was all it took.
Chat Noir blinked, his instinct told him to follow her, but the sensible part of his brain told him to stay put, so he simply shifted his body to face hers from where he sat. "Marinette, it's just me, I promise. I came to help."
She shook her head.
"Marinette."
Another quick shake.
"Mari, look at me."
It was as if watching a person move in slow motion, the boy commented to himself as Marinette edged her hands away from covering her face. Watery blue eyes silently peered across the room to meet Chat's.
Adrien dropped the transformation in a flash of shimmery light, and a slightly ticked off Plagg went over to join Tikki. Well, join the plate of cheese that Tikki had brought up to Marinette's room, that is.
"It's just me, Mari. Will you tell me what happened?"
The bluenette spoke in a barely existent mumble, "....kuma. I..the butterfly caught me. No one...I'm the only one with the ability to purify. I just....I was stuck like that and I just kept hurting people! Innocent people!"
"That won't happen, Marinette. I won't ever let that happen."
"Y-You couldn't stop me! Nothing was stopping me!"
"Shhh, Princess." Adrien soothed from his perch beside her bed. "It wasn't real."
She shook her head for the third time, but a pleading gaze remained locked with his own.
"Let me help you, Marinette. I promise it was a dream, nothing like that will ever happen." He continued to speak, though he had also started to walk towards her. Small steps, light steps. If she turned to flee then he was prepared to back off.
But she didn't. She watched his feet as they approached and her sight moved to his face once Adrien crouched in front of her.
It was the gentlest tone the boy could muster, the concerned undertones from before had been forced away. "Come here. Let me fix it."
Marinette whimpered as her eyes filled with fresh tears. A heartbeat passed before she surged her body forward into his, desperate and trembling. Adrien wrapped his arms around her immediately as he made quiet shhhing noises.
"You aren't an Akuma, Princess. You're still Marinette and Ladybug. You can still purify and you haven't hurt anyone."
Her hands tightened their hold on the fabric of his T-shirt, it was a sign that she was listening through her weeping.
"A dream was all it was. A horrible, dreadful dream, but a dream nonetheless. You're safe."
Sometime during the duration of Marinette's crying Adrien's words of comfort had ceased. Now he held her in silence, one hand rubbing circles into her back as she drifted off to sleep.
Once Tikki was sure her charge was no longer conscious, she flitted over to give Adrien a relieved thank you.
The boy turned and gave the kwami a very Chat-like wink. "Call me anytime, Tikki. I'll do anything for My Lady."

“And now, Desert Bluffs, it’stime for traffic! There only seems to be one major incident on the roads rightnow. We don’t have all the details yet, but only one individual was seriously injured. We’re not sure who they are or if they’ll survive, but I will update you on the situation once we get more information here at the studio!
“And for anyone interested, the accident happened just outside the North Entrance of the StrexCorp building, so try another route if you need to get around there!” Kevin took a sip of his overly-sweet coffee. He had slept over at Eugene’s the night before, and the mortician had been more than happy to brew some coffee for Kevin to take to work. If the caffeine content didn’t wake him up, the amount of cream and sugar certainly would. He’d grown to really like coffee that sweet in the several months that he and Eugene had been dating.
“And while we wait for more information, I take you to the weather!” He flipped on the weather, and while music softly filled the studio, he sent a couple texts to his boyfriend.
[txt] The coffee’s great <3
[txt] How’s work going? Anything exciting?
[txt] It’s been a slow news day here =/
[txt] Anyways, I’ll see you after work! Love you! -kisses-
Eugene didn’t reply back right then, but that was okay. Kevin figured he was probably fixing up one of the bodies down in the mortuary, and he knew texting was a bad idea while trying to drain blood from a body.
The moment the weather ended, an intern walked into the studio with a sheet of paper in her hands. “Announcements about the incident, Kevin,” she whispered as she handed Kevin the paper. “Sorry,” she muttered as she left the booth.
“Sorry?” Kevin asked with an eyebrow raised. “What are you sorry for?” Without even bothering to pre-read the announcement, he started to read off the information for his listeners.
“So! An update on the previously mentioned accident outside the StrexCorp building! We have learned that a car slid off the road and hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was a Strex employee on his break. The name of the victim--who was critically injured by the accident--is…” Kevin paused as he saw the name scribbled on the paper. “No. Th-this can’t be right.” He let out a nervous laugh. “Intern May! If this is a joke, it isn’t funny!”
Kevin let out a shaky breath. “The victim… Eugene… Eugene O’Malley.” He stood up quickly, knocking his chair over as he did. “I have to go.” He tore off his headset and ran out of the station without hesitation.
Tears started welling in his eyes as he drove to the scene of the accident. This wasn’t happening. Eugene couldn’t be hurt. He couldn’t be. This was all just some elaborate prank. “Please be okay,” Kevin muttered over and over as he turned the corner to see a row of emergency vehicles. He parked his car and ran out.
“Eugene!” he shouted desperately. “Gene!” His voice cracked when he saw his boyfriend being lifted onto a stretcher. He felt his breath catch in his throat and he ran to Eugene’s side.
His body just looked so… broken. He was covered in his own blood and his entire left side got the brunt of the impact from what Kevin could tell. “Eugene…” Kevin ran a gentle hand through his boyfriend’s hair.
Eugene let out a violent cough and opened his eyes before giving Kevin a weak smile. “K-Kevin… Y-You’re here…”
Kevin gripped Eugene’s uninjured hand, tears blurring his vision. “I’m here, Eugene. I’ll always be here.”
He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see a paramedic looking at him. “Sir, I’m going to have to ask you to leave. We’re about to take Dr. O’Malley to the hospital.”
“No!” Kevin snapped, standing protectively in front of Eugene. “He is my boyfriend, and wherever he goes, I’m going with him! You will let me in that ambulance with him.” His voice was shaky, but stern. “Otherwise you’re going to be my next studio decoration.”
The paramedic held up her hands before going to push Eugene’s stretcher into the ambulance. “Alright, Sir, come along. Just don’t get in our way.”
Kevin didn’t hesitate to run into the emergency vehicle. “Is he going to be okay…?” He asked once they started to drive to the hospital.
The paramedic put an oxygen mask over Eugene’s nose and mouth. “We can’t say either way. Along with broken bones, we think he has quite a lot of internal bleeding, so he may or may not survive depending on how severe it is.”
“Oh, Smiling God…” Kevin felt his breath catch like a lump in his throat. Eugene couldn’t die… Kevin couldn’t let his boyfriend die. They had so many plans for the future… He rested his head on Eugene’s right shoulder and started to openly sob. “P-please… please stay…”
“Kevin…” Eugene muttered while the doctors in the ambulance started to work on him.
“Eugene, what can I do…?” He bit his lip.
The injured man gave him a weak smile and took in a rattling breath. “Sing to me? I just… I wanna hear your voice.” He closed his eyes tightly.
Kevin nodded slowly and cleared his throat the best he could and started to sing, his voice little more than a choking sob.
“You are my Sunshine,”
They got to the hospital and rushed to the emergency room.
“My only Sunshine.”
The doctors started working on Eugene, and Kevin did everything in his power for them to let him stay in the room. He wouldn’t leave his boyfriend.
“You make me happy…”
He never let go of Eugene’s hand.
“…when skies are grey.”
The doctors finished a few hours later.
“You’ll never know, Dear,”
Eugene stayed under the anesthesia for even longer.
“How much I love you.”
He didn’t regain consciousness when he was supposed to. His heartrate slowed to dangerous levels.
“So please don’t take…”
The doctors declared Eugene to be comatose. And they claimed he might never wake up.
“…my Sunshine away.”
* * *
It was over a month after the incident, and Eugene still remained comatose. Every day, Kevin heard someone telling him that hope was lost, that Eugene wouldn’t wake up. Every day, someone told Kevin that visiting Eugene every day after work was pointless now.
“They keep telling me you’re good as dead.” Kevin ran his thumb over Eugene’s knuckles. “They tell me that I should give up on you. That your mom should give up on you. That Calixto should give up on you. B-But Smiling God, Eugene, we love you too much.” He bit his lip as a fresh wave of tears came over him. “I love you, Gene. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and… and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I wanted to marry you… start a family with you… I can’t let that end here. I-I just can’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.” He took a deep breath, praying to any entity that would listen for Eugene to wake up. He gripped Eugene’s hand and started to sing again, less choked than the first time.
“You are my Sunshine,
My only Sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.”
The heartrate monitor started to beep faster.
“You’ll never know, Dear,
How much I love you.”
Three nurses rushed in and pushed Kevin to the side.
“So please don’t take
My Sunshine away.”
The nurses checked all of Eugene’s vitals and a doctor came in to do a couple more tests. Kevin stayed in the room the entire time, and let out a soft little squeak when he heard a weak cough come from his boyfriend.
“Eugene!” Kevin’s voice cracked and he practically shoved the doctor out of the way. “Oh, Smiling God, you’re alive!” He kissed Eugene’s forehead gently, tears of joy and relief rolling down his cheeks.
“K-Kevin?” Eugene’s voice was hoarse. “Y-you’re here.”
Kevin pressed a small glass of water to Eugene’s lips. “Of course I am, Eugene. I never gave up on you. I wasn’t going to let them take my little ray of sunshine away from me.”
Eugene smiled at him. “I could hear you. Y-you were singing.”
Kevin hugged him as gently as he could. “I love you.”
“Love you, too.” He was too weak to hug him back, but he did hold on to the folds of Kevin’s shirt. “So, so much.”
The doctors made Eugene stay in the hospital for another few weeks while he recovered, and Kevin was more than happy to smuggle a few cookies in every now and then after work, and he stayed overnight more often than not. Eugene was alive, and Kevin couldn’t be more grateful. When they were finally allowed to go back home, Eugene still had several broken bones that needed to finish healing, but otherwise, he was back to his usual self.
