Fun fact about Dante from DMC1: if you slash your sword twice it looks like he is dabbing.
You're welcome, my life wasn't the same after realizing this rarity in DMC. Assume me to try to incorporate DMC lore to Michi after beating DMC1

I take my words back on Pkmn being only for kids. The whole premise becomes more drastic, scary and a tutorial on How Not To Get a Safe Gym Badge Hunt Trip the moment you amplify every detail and treat them + its characters realistically. That’s more likely how you’re not supposed to play the game series - I’d imagine that just “enjoying the whole thing” is the main goal and explains a lot of plotholes - but as an adult woman I need more than generic JRPG mechanics and a meaning why and where I remember it from.
I’ve gotten a fuckton of ironic enjoyment out of Y when I figured out how the potential was wasted and nulled down - and in response amplified every element I could in my verses and caused a very different journey for my protagonist which ended in her having a burnout and telling Sycamore that she quits the task he was hyped up for & her neighbor that she hated his guts. Game Freak, I now sort of see what you were intending with the plotline: it’s still not as stable as in older games or as good as it could’ve been and you missed the mark. Just don’t filter anything kids aren’t afraid to see and let me experience the harsh reality.
Let me see the chaos at Geosenge Town and people rushing outside the broken houses and rush to the Pokemon Center, let me see the aftermath of ppl acknowledging Lysandre is gone (two NPCs at Snowbelle City aren’t enough). Let me see the actual impact Flare caused to Kalos and how the MC isn’t going to be 100% all right after the events. Let me feel things like they’re more real and that it actually mattered. The best way to ramp up things is to make they feel real and add the tension: that’s more effective than jump scares or false ideas.
Realism is my virtue and how I find enjoyment in life, and while it’s a double edged sword it’s what makes me feel alive.
If I'd pick any 4th gen Sinnoh NPCs you temporarily travel with (aka the game showing off its double battle mechanics & speed up training temporarily in new areas, let's all admit it's the only reason these sections exist) it'd be either Cheryl or Riley. I've always thought both trainer - partner Pkmn combinations work in both first impression and ability wise and their personalities are nice and memorable and they look aesthetically good.
All dialogue options Riley has had in Iron Island have been far from irritating. Now if I only remembered what Cheryl said so I could compare them.
...uh, you're in a wrong universe or timeline for even thinking it'd be legit to say things like without sounding either hyperformal with no legit reason or just plain odd. Game Freak, what were you thinking in the translation team...?! Any person in a modern France wouldn't say this unless you were a butler/maid and even after that it would be too much. Did I mention that if the word "Hail" isn't combined with a natural phenomenon or satanism (Hail Satan) the first thing what comes to my mind is hardly the truth and makes me uncomfy.
I don't know what to think of this, or why this even exists. Gdi, the translation error hit me hard and the last thing I wanted to think was out-of-context lines nazism or unfitting lines.
Today on what I spent my in-game time in Y: breeding because I want my mon to not be a discount member & I find it to be relaxing (more than the rush game expects me to follow - nope just watch me replace half of my team & fill my Dex)
Seriously, I think that the devs tried to have a task more than "get the badges and kick local baddies' asses" but it's not as fluent as I'd liked it to be so far. The Mega Evolution search is neat as a concept plan but sending four fucking kids to find sth a pro could be better in sounds a bit unlikely and coincidental if you put it in realistic scale.
Oh man, this just makes me think of the possible shades I could bring in a possible muse. If I'm convinced that I'd be good enough & I have enough stuff to work with, that is.
Today on the evidence list I am screaming about: Miles Dadworth in his natural habitat and his daughter Kay Faraday (not that he's 100% aware of it, no sir)
I love my prosecutor crush so much OK
I s2g every time when a Linkle stage opens in HW it's played immediately, she's the best girl out if the non-main cast characters.
Also - Lana's less impressive & not as nifty to play as other cast. Thank God I got Midna, she can plow through the obstacles now~
Here he is, my emo son making his grand entrance with style and eccentric style he has. Ily Gladion, never change
