Oh.
My.
God.
I didn’t think it was possible to be this bored working from home. I bet I’ve only done 1 hours worth of actual work all day long.

[ I came up to be close to you. I packed chicken wings, potato chips and a slice of vanilla cake for the road. And sweet songs too. I burned passed days for some sparks. I sprung in the moment and look to you for light.]
Everyone else can argue whether the decade is actually ending or not. I will be low-key judging anyone who pronounces 2020 “two-thousand twenty” and not “twenty-twenty.”
Talked to my officemate this morning about online dating (she’s done it in the past, I haven’t). She mentioned a man contacting her that lived a little over an hour away and she told him she didn’t want a long distance relationship. I don’t remember anything she said after that because I was too busy thinking ‘An hour is considered long distance? Does she want to live next door to him?’
So I guess my question is, how far does a couple have to live apart to be considered a long distance relationship? I always thought it was at least a days drive (like in the car all day, driving). Or is it a mileage?
Also, it’s obviously a very boring day here at work for me if this is what I’ve been dwelling on.
Tomorrow is my official first day in my new position which feels kind of silly since I’ve basically been doing the job for the last few weeks. The biggest change is my new hours start tomorrow. So I’ll be getting to work about 2 hours earlier than I have been and getting off 2 hours earlier. I don’t think I’ve ever had a job where I didn’t work until at least 5pm. The mornings are going to be a struggle for a while and it’s going to feel odd getting off so early, but also so nice, especially when the time changes.
I woke up before 6:30, half an hour before my alarm went off, and still managed to not have time to eat breakfast and run late for work. How?
I got a pumpkin spice latte this morning because I wanted something different than my usual coffee and cream. Now I remember why I don’t get hyped up like everyone else about these things.
