The other day, I found a great document written on the subject of TTC typography. It's something of which I'm definitely aware and about which I think frequently... but it was really nice to witness someone expressing it so eloquently and so thoroughly. If you have the time and you love Torontoisms, I highly recommend reading this. Even just skimming it will make you want to preserve our municipal history.

I've always found the right angles of Toronto's financial district comforting.

Now my work day nestles me in among them and I can walk out and see the art of Mies van der Rohe on display.

It's pretty sweet.

First Canadian Place is a skyscraper in the financial district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the northwest corner of King and Bay streets, and is the location of the Toronto headquarters of the Bank of Montreal. At 298 m (978 ft), it is Canada's tallest skyscraper and the 15th tallest building in North America to structural top (spires) and 9th highest to the roof top, and the 68th tallest in the world.

Tri-City Moment

In Toronto. Drinking at Les Trois Brasseurs, which conjures up Montréal memories. Watching a March Madness match-up, which reminds me of my trip to Boston.

Yup. Definitely feels like a vacation.
