small drabble under readmore; basically muska and little sheeta and it's not creepy cause he's not actually one to do anything sensual with a small girl are you kidding  

also i have feels (and i wanted to write a musheeta fluff thing)

"Muska? Are you awake?"

A small voice broke the Laputian King from his thoughts. "Sheeta? Why are you awake?" It worried him when she was restless-- He knew she was uncomfortable; anyone who was suddenly taken away to travel around the world with a person they didn't know would have every right to be wary.

"I'm scared..."

He feared that-- "Sheeta, what are you afraid of? Nothing will hurt you here, you're safe..." He went over and sat at her bedside, a gentle smile crossing his face. "I'm not going to let anything hurt you." Reaching out, the King ruffled the girl's hair.

"Promise? You'll keep me safe?"

Gods, it would kill him to let her know how unstable he could be. "I swear on my life, no harm will come to you. I'll be here to save you, no matter what."

He hadn't expected the small girl to ask him to sleep next to her (she seemed to find comfort and he didn't know why-- and in time that would change and he knew she'd hate him)-- nonetheless, Sheeta gave the cutest pout and he couldn't deny her request.

Feeling the girl's small form curled up against his larger one, Muska sighed. Sheeta was already fast asleep, so he didn't really risk anything by speaking truths...

"One day I'll take you home to our Heavenly Empire... I'll give you everything you'd want... Sheeta, I love you, and if I need to, I'll wait forever. A hundred years is only a blink in the existence of an immortal... So I can wait..."

To his surprise, a soft mumble was given in return-- "I'd like to see Heaven one day with you. You'll keep me safe there, too..."
