Tutter and Ojo discovered the burried treasure of Tutterly T. Tutter, Tutter's great grandfather. By the time the two uncovered the treasure all of the cheese was moldy but Tutter was happy to have his great grandfather's compass.

To create the celebrity version of "Put Down the Duckie," every celebrity guest star from season 18 of Sesame Street was asked to sing a verse from the song and it was later edited together. A second celebrity version of the song appeared in season 24 with some new guests.

Karen Falk, head archivist for The Jim Henson Company, once suggested that Rufus—the white, fluffy dog puppet who appeared on Tall Tales, Sesame Street, and various Muppet productions—was named after Rufus Rose, a puppeteer and puppet builder for for The Howdy Doody Show.
