Appetizers are foodstuffs eaten in small amounts just before a main meal. Also known as sweets, this course of a meal serves the purpose of stimulating the digestive system. Some Irish appetizers are deviled eggs, Irish cheddar triangle, parsley cheese ball and Irish sausage kebabs. Not certain which the best is as tastes and preferences differ.
Ireland is known for its rich culinary delights and expansive cooking menus and it’s referred to as the 'kitchen in Southern Europe' due to inspirational foods such as the pizza and pasta. We also have original classic appetizers such as stuffed baby red potatoes, basil jelly, beer fondue and corned beef spread which are famous the world over.
Tantalize your taste buds, and make yourself wait for the gastronomical delights on the anvil as you browse into many delicious appetizer recipes from Ireland.

Pour, Swirl, and Savor These 10 Health Benefits of Whiskey:
One week, alcohol is bad for you. The next week, alcohol is good for you. It’s a debate researchers are constantly in search of proving. Or disproving.
While the jury may still be out on alcohol as a whole, the verdict is in on whiskey. And for those of us who care to imbibe the luscious amber liquid, the vote is in our favor. Studies have proven that whiskey can be, and is, beneficial to our health. In moderation of course.
So pour a glass, swirl, and savor as you glean these 10 health benefits of drinking whiskey to the last drop.
1. WEIGHT LOSS
While a healthy diet and exercise should not be traded in for a fifth of whiskey, studies have proven that drinking whiskey can aid in weight loss. By curbing appetite, you are likely to feel more full and less likely to munch away on a bag of potato chips. A single serving contains less than 100 calories and has no fat. New diet fad anyone?
2. REDUCES STRESS
There is no question that having a drink takes the edge off. Drinking a single serving of whiskey settles the nerves and calms the brain by slowing activity. After a long, hard day at the office, relax with a nice stiff drink. You’ve earned it.
