Beautiful hunting knife

Finally got my first Nagao Higonokami. When the samurai class was abolished around 1870, the decline in demand for swords required diversification into tools and knives. Which led to Japan's first pocket knife being made in the early 1890s. The Nagao is still made by hand in Japan the same way today. I can tell im going to have to resharpen it a little, but I am happy to have a little history in my collection.
