Did vegeta care for the gender of who his son dated? No. The same would go for any of his kids. Trunks, Kaio, and Bulla could date any one male, female, or neither. Hell Human, aline and what not. We're all fine he would give a shit on who they laid eyes on well. There were some expecting. Nkt thar Vegeta felt there was any need to not understand why. It seemed fair and vaild cosniding his early stance on the matter.

Then he found out Trunks was dating Kakarot's son Goten. Of course, he handled it about as well as anyone could expect and now he was met with Kakarot himself. Arms crossed over his chest

He huffed and closed his eyes, arms folded over his own chest as he tilted his head down nit even willing to face his rivals direction. "Easy, I refuse to all my son to date anyone that shares your DNA Kakarot." He states it firm and curtly. "It has nothing to do with if your boy is good or not it's that fact he is related to you and depiest it all. You're still my rival idiot! So I forbid my children to mix themself up with the enemny!" Yes, all clear and sound logic here.
Finally, eyes open as he lifts his gaze back up to Goku. "Unlike you, who seems to keep forgetting that." Starting to move on now having no more energy to waste on this idiot. Now, setting off to track his son Trunks was being so stubborn about this whole matter, not that Vegeta was one to talk much on when it came to stubbornness.
"He could date anyone, and yet he had to go and pick someone releated to you!" Venting out some of his annoyance on tje matter towards Goku now, as his clock his toung and turned fully away from them. "My son is to good for yous!"
