A group of slashes across his palms caused by a belt and/or belt buckle in which his adoptive guardian used as a form of punishment.
Lashed across his lower stomach and back from his Guardian in the same reason for the belt and belt buckle created scars.
Self harm marks his thighs as a way to see if he could tame his thoughts. It sometimes varies from old and healed, to new and scarring.

Nathaniel usually wears a dark cloth long coat on top of his slightly worn dress shirt and brown cloth button up waistcoat in which he made from him selves when he gained material from helping sheep farmers not long before he came to the inquisition for help.
On top of all that, the Anders wears a yellow and darker, mustard yellow scarf made from silk in which the same farm gave him as a very grateful thank you for rounding up their stock with nothing but patience and a walking stick.
Besides these, He wears rather, now, tight dark trousers which have a slightly noticeable patch where his knee is, a different fabric being used to replace with simple hand stitches where his work has caused a slight rip.
At the end of his trousers, they are tucked into leather boots in which he very rarely ties up for either reasons; he finds no use in doing so for they just become undone instantly, or secondly… birds pulling at the strings can cause them to snap, making them a wasteful object.
Finally, to tie his shamble of an attire together, the teenager wears a small golden locket just above his cloth waistcoat - filled with a picture of his mother and father, two pictures his sister delicately painted for his birthday to fill in the empty gaps.
‘Pup’ is a very quite and timid teenager who can never look at somebody in the eye when conversing, head always facing the floor as he walks around and hands, which are completely gloves (besides two fingers in which he uses them to spark magic to life) aimlessly play with the ends of his scarf, enjoying the silence feeling.
not giving much of a car to his personal attire, the necromancer often has shaggy, curly hair which is trimmed at the sides ever so slightly regularly covering in his face, for which he tuts every time he notices it, brushing it out of his line of sigh.
But after such, the human finds his trust more into animals than he does humanoid figures, able to find their heart and meaning quicker than he ever has with anybody else in the world which walks on two legs.
More often than not, the mage can be found making little spiritual creature come to life, to pet and play with in his free time behind an empty building. “giving them a new life” is what he likes to call it, stuttering the words to anybody who asks what he is getting up too, often flinching or hiding them away just before them approach or find him.
Overall, it takes the young man of the inquisition awhile to trust another human and get used to their company - often shying away and hiding behind the Tavern to pick flowers and harvest anything else which may have been useful for the horses, cows, sheep.. anything agricultural.
After all, he will never raise his voice at another, never finding the ability to raise his voice higher than barely a whisper.
DARK ASPECTS (MAY BE TRIGGERING - ARE NOT VITAL)
Due to a boy with a harsh past with physical abuse, he can not express his magic as much as he would like, hiding as much evidence that he has mana flowing through his veins as humanely possible. Never will he carry a staff or spell book either.
Just with people walking close and unexpectedly, he will flinch with any eye contact he gains - if it is at night, he may cower and whimper in pure fright that he may have done something wrong - or that he could gain the blame of hiding something.
(this may often be abused by drunkards finding it funny.)
The sounds of loud cracks and whips cause the teenager to go into sheer shock and frantic apologies - Thunder storms are horrendous.
Seeing an animal in pain or being harmed will often trigger something in his mind, causing him to get in between a victim and abuser - this can often cause bad mishaps, but it isn’t like he cares.
Due to missing his parents, not knowing wether his father is dead or alive, the teenager can often be found roaming the stables to nuzzle up to a favoured animal, or nurture those he believes could be in the same fate.
But also due to missing his family, it can lead to horrific nightmares, causing the necromancer to wake up in a frantic panic, streaming tears and struggling to breath.
Nathaniel is an exceptional Necromancer - but merely only uses it to raise animals.
He enjoys sewing clothes back together for repairs
As well as sewing, he makes a great joiner, often found repairing the barn and stables on his own when it doesn’t look safe.
Finally, first aid is a skill he learnt off his mother and he will happily use it to aid injured animals, or people he seems who need it.
