After a moment of silence between them after Summer dropped the bomb of him not being the only virgin in the room, Seth decided to break the tension, to slow things down between them. Standing up from his bed he walked over to his record player and drop the needle at the beginning of the record. As Ryan Adam's cover of Wonderwall began to play he walked back over the bed with his hand held out and a cheeky grin to boot. "C'mon, I'm sweeping you off your feet." 

Summer had kept this secret for longer than she intended. Seth had a perception of her that wasn’t completely accurate. Then this whole thing with Anna happened and the wonder woman costume...she knew he had the wrong idea. Talking about it before would have been better, but now they were here. She sighed when he got up to the record player, her fingers massaging her temples slightly before looking at him. 

It wasn’t disappointment in his eyes, but really just the same Seth he’d always been. Softer maybe if it were even possible. She laughed at his cheesy line, but she got up anyway, looking at him as he held his hand out. She took it and kept her gaze on him as the song played slowly and beautifully in the background. “When did you get so romantic?” she asked as they swayed, her free arm rounding over his neck.

Team STRQ was beginning to fall apart, Raven had already run off back to the tribe leaving Tai all alone with Yang and things hadn’t fared much better between Summer and Qrow. Standing out at they’re meet up spot Summer had waited for him.

Their conversation had taken many turns and changes. She had expressed wanting to continue being a Huntress and helping Tai take care of young Yang. It wasn’t meant to break up their team even more than it already had. “I...Qrow...” Summer started as she looked him over with a somber expression.

“That wasn’t why I wanted to tell you this, I don’t want to leave you Qrow.”

Has summer gave her answer and explained it Seth found himself smiling more and more. It was just another reason to why his feelings for her had only been growing since they got to know each other. “I have to say, I couldn’t agree with you more especially with the way you explain it. Even though I haven’t seen hocus pocus in years I know it’s a lot better. Plus it has the Olsen twins before they began to look like gelflings.”

“Ohhh mygosh. You’re so right. They were in the movie. Totally forgot about that.” she shook her head. “Alright. You have me convinced about movie night. Let’s put it on. I’ll find the movie and you grab the candy. Not the skittles --the good stuff. I saw Sandy eating kit kats earlier!” she yelled out as she rummaged through the DVD collection in the Cohen household.

"Coop. I'm still not over it. Cohen's grandfather, and your mother." Summer looks away and then cringes, before taking a sip of her slightly spiked iced tea. "Just--ew. So much. ew." she turned to her again, trying to gauge how she was feeling about it. "How are you taking it? Oh my god. How about your dad?" Summer shook her head again. And to think she had it bad with the step monster. Sheesh. Guess no one was safe in this place.

“You’re never going to lose me.” she hugs her tightly and cradles her head. “No matter what happens we’ll find a way to keep you here. Maybe we can arrange something where you can finish off school with me here.” she leaned back to look at her seriously. “I mean how much room does my step monster even need? My dad isn’t here a whole lot, and you know we like to go out. This place needs more people. Why not you?” Summer had her own family issues and detachments but at least she could hopefully give Marissa the foundation she was losing because of the chaos from her father’s money debacle.

“That’s not fair, Cohen. He’s actually a good guy.” But he wasn’t him, and she knew it. As nice as he was and good to her, no one ever seemed to move her the way that Seth had. Even now, she was just pushing herself to move on. But she hadn’t expected him to treat her this way. “Just because we’re not together anymore, doesn’t give you an excuse to treat me like that. That’s not what got us together in the first place,” she retorted, hurt that he’d think that would work. Or was he just trying to get even with her some how? She didn’t know.

“Who the hell thinks that? Point me in their direction, so I can kick their asses.” There was way more to Marissa than met the eye. These past few years have been tough on her friend, but that wasn’t her fault. Parents sucked. If other people judged her for losing her cool a handful of times, well they were idiots in her book. Marissa was a badass that could actually create events from scratch and have the patience to deal with all sorts of people; people Summer herself couldn’t deal with. “You absolutely aren’t a liability. People will show up at the Winter Carnival and you’re going to be amazing at coordinating it. We’ll prove them wrong--I’ll help.”
