“New York again! Brilliant!” The Doctor shouted as she stepped from her trusty blue TARDIS, not knowing that her new companions weren’t following behind her until there was a pause at the end of her rambling. “Love New York. I mean, it’s a bit sad, considering I lost close friends here, but man are the pretzels good! Oh, we could go see Hamilton!” She said with excitement but meeting the TARDIS’ closed blue doors instead of the astonished ones of her friends.
“Guys? Are you really gonna stay in there?” She laughed, stepping back inside the blue box, only to find it completely empty.
“Not. Good.” She uttered, flying out of the box and running down the alley to find where they could possibly be. She took out her screwdriver, but had no readings of any other time travelers in the area. “Work with me here.” She smacked the side of her sonic screwdriver, hoping that it was just an issue of it being homemade. She began walking, still looking down at the readings, which made her bump into someone.
“So sorry! Million miles away. Well, not literally. Though, I was like ten minutes ago. Gee, I hope my friends aren’t that far away. That’d be space. Or the Equator, I suppose.” She rambled, no longer talking to the person in front of her, but thinking aloud. “Uh, anyway, I’m The Doctor. Have you seen Hamilton yet?”
