"... and honestly, i'm not sure i even want to take the case anymore, with everything the client said in the meeting today, but the higher ups think it would be a good one for the firm." albert has been rambling for a solid minute straight about it, about the case and the client, and genuinely not letting lucas get a word in, but after taking a bite of his food, with a startling and satisfied hum, he holds a forkful out to the other. "anyway, i talk to much, how was your day?"

“really? and who would that be?”

both of the evers siblings were curled against there mother, arms wrapped loosely around her. it was almost a funny sight- two, fully grown people snuggled against what seemed to be a random maid.

“says who? there’s not some universal rule that james march has to be respected.”

“Why are all the candy hearts so sappy? I want one that says, ‘I hate you.’” ( miss evers, after mr. march banished her, lol)

they were definitely trying not to laugh. of course, marie was definitely having a bit more…. trouble than her older brother. delicate features scrunched up in amusement as pale lips curled into a smile. 

“there are customized ones,” albert offered. it was definitely an amusing sight to see their mother so bitter about something.

the fact that neither of them exactly liked mr. march was even better. 

“you can write really nasty things on those, actually!” the little redhead piped up from her spot next to her brother.
