The Mudman is very involved with the lesser approached creatures in the bogs and woods. This includes dryads, trolls, nymphs, elves, satyr, “smaller elementals”, and other “fantastical” creatures.

He doesn’t see them as “fantastical”, though. He just believes they should have some company. Maybe try and put in a good word for a piece of humanity if there is doubt while he’s at it.
