--- Bahorel was tired. 

He was almost always tired these days, classes drained him, and it wasn’t that he didn’t sleep, okay, no, that was a lie, he didn’t sleep, it was just that there was only so many hours in a day, and if one third of them was spent on sleep, and the other third was wasted doing classwork for a career he didn’t even want, what was the point? And while skipping sleep was ultimately bad for his health it was, at least, vaguely optional. He couldn’t afford ( literally ) for his family to cut him off. So, school it was. Between school and sleep he was left to his own devices for a few hours more than eight a day. Ample time for him to get into trouble. The door opened while he was perched on his skateboard, which, was perched on the edge of his kitchen counter.
