constantine knew what the sign meant, but in true connie fashion, he didn't care. he still gone as close as he could without being noticed to spy on whatever vampire enters the underworld. some came to where they don't belong. why couldn't he go to where he doesn't belong? he had saved some Vitelli kid's life after the rodeo. it was a battle, but he did it with the help of his team. he had seen the slashes and marks; the bite on the guy's neck. he knew exactly what had injured the young man. so he went searching for vampires after he was done there. he knew they were starting to get bold. especially the one who he had chased from the club to a random alleyway just down the street.

he had only gone to the underworld for that one vampire. he saw them attack a person earlier in the night. another one who was too bold for their own good. the person wasn't too injured, but they were shook up. another young one trusting too hard and too fast. he hates when the targets are close in age to his own kids. makes connie worried that one day it'll be his own children getting attacked. but he has to remind himself that he trained them. that he taught them how to fight against a vampire, what weapons they needed, what animals may help them, and most importantly, he taught them about yellow roses and how they should carry them everywhere they go. as far as he knows, they did. he made it his life mission to make sure everyone was protected in some ways.

he had finally corner the vampire in an alleyway. constantine had attacked him from behind, thinking it'd be an easy fight. but it wasn't. it took longer than he had planned. by the time he finally stabbed the vampire in the heart, he was already beaten and a little bloody. he was also very sweaty from the fight. but oh did it feel so good to take out a vampire. he was one who actually enjoyed the hunt and the chase. he gave him the chance to let out his frustration and anxiety. when he lost a patient on the table, connie would go hunt to get rid of whatever guilt he felt. it was his way of coping.

he didn't lose the guy who got attacked, but he came pretty damn close to it. that had been a good reason to go out and find a vampire to kill. once he was done, he was about to leave to find a pay phone so he could make a page to someone to get rid of the body. but when he turns around, he sees someone he hadn't expected, a young woman standing close to the alleyway entrance. he had thought he was alone. he didn't think he was seen or heard. "fuck...." he mutters to himself, turning his head to look towards her. he doesn't move from the vampire's body. he just stands there over it while he watches her.

"how much did you see?" he asks her, not moving from his spot. not caring to get anywhere near her. he didn't really want her to see his face. "i need to know how much you saw. fucking...." he stops and takes a deep breath to calm himself down. "please tell me how much you saw. what do you think i just killed."

"I didn't get an autopsy, they figured out I was poisoned... about ten minutes past the point of saving me though...My acting was truly incredible for that scene~!"
